Joining you from the "When will the 2009...." thread! Luckily for me, I took the day off from work today because of a satellite TV installation. Dreams was able to take care of everything for us first thing this AM after I fired off an email!

Thanks for keeping that thread alive with the summaries, etc. It was most helpful.

I'm giving this one some serious thought - we've not been on our first cruise yet which is a 3 nighter in August 2008. Am I righ in thinking I can book it now then apply for the rebooking discount and extra credit when I'm on board in 2008?

Welcome,

What I would recomend is book now, at the lower prices, then when you are on board the ship, if its better to book at the on board rate, book a new cruise and then cancel this one.

Then if it goes up your covered, if its cheaper on board you are also covered.

My family booked this today along with 2 of my sisters and their families - there will be 12 of us 6 adults and 6 kids ranging from 14 - 6

This will be my 9th cruise .

I've officially sent the note to Dreams. I was debating whether to use the discount and credit I got for a June 4 night cruise but it turns out that this cruise costs less than that one so I am actually saving more by using it on the four nighter. I may cancel the 4-nighter though...so.... decisions. decisions. It will be my wife and I and our two girls who will be 5 and 10 when we cruise.

This is the one we are hoping to get..Can't book untill Jan/Feb...taking family along and hubbies have to pre approve vacation time.

If all the stars line up this is the one for us...:thumbsup2

Hi!! I just booked this one about an hour ago and I am so excited! It's going to be hard to contain that excitement for the next 21 months! This is our 2nd DCL cruise. Our first was with the Konked Kruisers Oct. 20-27, 2007. That was the best vacation ever and I can't wait for the next one! :goodvibes It will be me, DH, DS who will be 10 at the time, and DD who will be 8 at the time.

My DSIL and her family are also planning to come, it will be there 1st and they will have a DS's 7 and 9 at the time.

My own DS's will be 12 and 13...yuck teenagers...lol

I'm onboard!!:goodvibes Don't pardon the pun.LOL This will be my second Eastern, I'm excited to go to Tortola. We loved St. Thomas, but wanted to spend more time there. This is our chance. It will be my DH, myself, and my DD will almost be 7 at the time.

There will be five of us including DS's - 14, 10 and DD - 5. Can't believe our oldest will be 14 when we cruise!

i'm seriously thinking about it. have to "discuss" w/dh...not home yet. wish he'd be home soon!! (but already called our ta!) :flower:

I booked last night

We've not even been on our first cruse yet so I'm a bit worried about sea sickness etc., but as DCL gets such rave reviews I thought I'd better book now and there's always the option to cancel.

Looking forward to keeping in touch with this thread and hearing from all you experienced cruisers :surfweb:

I'm really looking forward to Tortola :beach:

We're hoping to book this one! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
