Ed,

I hope your feeling better soon..........!!!!!

Thank you, it's my own fault, I started my walking program on monday and Tues and Weds, I was over 12,000 steps a day. Well combine that with standing out in the cold for a 1/2 hr during the fire drill yesterday and then moving the TV and cable stuff into Caitlin's room from the playroom, was too much stress for the knee I think.

It's starting to feel better, just tender

I kind of agree, Harry, but she's so freaked out by what's happening that she wants to try the alternative route first. Also she has a friend who's a big naturopath believer and it seems she has some excellent contacts... :confused3 She knows it's not a tumour so has some time to try out the non-surgical option... I've been reading up on it all afternoon - it's a minefield... :sad2:

Hopefully all will work out in the end.

One of the biggest problems in healthcare in this country (perhaps elsewhere) is that, unlike most other "markets", healthcare consumers do not have access to all the information they need to make important decisions. Like you said - it's a minefield.

Well, Construction has begun...

The deck is gone. THe kids are going to flip when they get home and see there is nothing there. I'm going to take some pics. and see if I can post them.......

The destruction begins , Good luck :thumbsup2

It's January 24th and we still have no snow on the ground here! Very strange. On one hand I'm happy - haven't had to do the walks, driveway, etc. and all the other stuff that comes with snow, but on the other hand there are a lot of fun things to do in the snow.

We were forecasted for 3 inches today, but that isn't going to happen. The snow line is barely reaching us and is pushing the east. Just flurries now.

We are just east of Philadelphia:

Me, I'm very happy I have no snow to deal with

That's definitely true here in the UK too... :confused3

That's really scary Karen. I don't know much about this but my sis had thyroid problems about 8 years ago. She was on medication for a whilebut it wasn't quite doing what it needed to do. She was all set to have iodine radiation done and she got pregnant. Fortunately for her, pregnancy set things right and she hasn't had a problem since. I'm not sure what she'll do if it comes back again, as she was told it's likely. Good luck to your friend.

Thinking, I'm in the mood for chocolate chip cookies.........Going to start to make some for the kids!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds yummy! Pizza for dinner, chocolate chip cookiues for dessert, you are speaking my language Kristin! It's just the kids and me tonight and I have no clue what to do for dinner.

I'll go take some I have some of just the deck when it was up already. I'll go and take some now so you can see it is funny to look out there. They really are moving fast. I think it is since the builder said not many jobs out there and this is a HUGE job in the dead of winter for them to get paid on and times are tough now he was saying not many jobs people are just not adding on or doing new contstruction!!!!!!!!!!!

I can vouch for the construction industry being tough, since the company I work for is a quite large concrete company. 2007 was the worst year we've had since the 80's and 2008 isn't looking any better. It's been a shock since 2005/2006 were record years for us and business was booming. Even though we are stretched so thin right now due to cuts, we are so thankful to even have jobs!

Hello everyone! I'm home from work and it's sleeting pretty hard :sad2: and it's freezing outside. I am soo sick of this cold and snow and ice !!! I live in Texas for a reason.

Hi Everyone! Been away for a couple of days...My daugter has some type of stomach virus and I have tooth that is killing me...It hasnt been a fun couple days!
