Sorry your day is a headache waiting to happen Harry.

Mine is going from OK to bad. Our poor doggie is nearing his end I think. He can barely get up today, which is a really bad thing obviously. I coaxed him up to go outside when I got home and he's sort of dragging his hind paws. If he gets to the point he can no longer get up then we'll have to put him down. We don't want him to finish his days humiliated because he can't do his business where he is supposed to, and there is no way we can carry him in and out to do it. He's a 100lb dog. So I think we are facing a tough decision very soon. It breaks my heart. He has been the best dog I have ever had, and he has been around with my DH longer than I have. So with the "us" (me, the kids), he's always been a presence here. I keep telling him it's OK. If he's ready to go it's OK. We've been very fortunate because he is 14 years old. Quite old for a lab I think. :sad1:

That's very sad. Our dog, aged 13, died a couple of years back. He was part of the family and we've never had the heart to replace him. My kids say he is not replaceable.

Ahh, Harry!!! Sounds like just another day in office paradise... ;) My DH has had 'issues' with a secretary a while ago and it proved such a drain on his time and energy. He didn't realise how bad it was until he employed his current secretary - she makes life easier, not harder!!! :headache:

"Drain" is a good way to describe it!

Nice rebound after a poor start... not as bad as some of the markets in Europe and Asia did yesterday...

In London, yesterday's drop was the largest since 9/11!!! Rallied today, somewhat...

Anyone see on the news, the actor who is going to be playing The Joker in this summer's Batman movie, Heath Ledger, was found dead in NY (suicide?)...

Just read about it!!! Shame, the poor guy was only 28... Had a 2 year old child, I believe... :sad2:

What a relief to be home from work!! Now I will torment my son by checking his grades - they get posted online, practically in real-time. Very useful for parents - the kids hate it though! He's an excellent student so he has no worries.

I just passed the "Magic Aptitude Test" for the Chief Magic Officer (as I'm sure all of would!).... now I just need to convince DW that it is my dream job! :rotfl:

Wow, that took a while!!! I was reading mine at the weekend - I'm just so tempted by the Adventures By Disney vacations... :cloud9: BTW, meant to ask, will you easily be able to reschedule your eye appointment???

I know there are several ABD vacations I would  to do! England & France and Ireland are a the top of my list! It will probably be awhile before I get to go though, when you add in airfare it puts it over my limits :scared1:

Luckily I was able to reschedule it for next Friday which worked out ok because Zane and myself were supposed to drive down Saturday to go with my best friend and her little girl to a Doodlebops concert. So now we will just go down a day early. :cool1:

It's going to look awesome!!! :thumbsup2 Spoke to my architect this morning - should be seeing him to work on our plans next week!!! :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: We have soooo much work to do here - but for now, hoping to dig out a large basement dining room and additional bedroom suite... The garage/den refurb will have to wait... ;) ;) ;)

that is going to be AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, we get DS's reports online - it's very efficient tho' DH confessed to me earlier he can't open them at work and I always forward them to him!!!! So goodness knows what the young man's up to... :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: :lmao: :rotfl2:

Congratulations!!! I'm sure the job's all but yours!!!! Would that require a move to Orlando??? If so, here's a property in Celebration I've been coveting...
