Gorgeous isn't it... maybe, if DH gets a big bonus...:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Actually DD and I visited Celebration last October - it's beeootiful but a little Stepford Wives... if you know what I mean... Friends of ours have a place there and the wife and kids go every summer for 6 weeks...

I visited Celebration once, too... unfortunately it was to visit Florida Hospital there (nothing major). It was on St. Patrick's Day - the ER wait was 16+ hours and that's no exaggeration. I actually left, went to OKW and had dinner, and went back. Long story short - felt dizzy and thought I had palpatations.. turned out to be too much caffeine and/or lack of sleep. They worked me up when I walked in, determined that was not dying, and sent to me a chair. After like 8 or 9 hours or so I simply walked out (a lot of people did). I called them a few hours later and asked for my lab results, which they would not share on the phone. I drove back and 'lo and behold - I was next in line! There were some really sick people there too and they were all just laying around - it was bad. The problem - St. Patty's Day - loads of people who were trashed! Saw some interesting sights that night!

Next day I was riding Space Mountain! Just to be safe I was thoroughly checked out at home - no issues (thankfully).

Oh Abby, I feel for you guys, I really do!!!   Sounds like he's going the same way as our old Boxer and in the end my DH took the decision that it was all about the dog's quality of life - I know it upset our boy that he couldn't do what was expected of him and so my DH took him to the vet. It's breaking my heart just remembering, but that's the thing about dogs - they give so much and sometimes we have to step up and thank them in the hardest way possible... OK I'm rambling AND blubbing - enough said...

Karen, Abby :grouphug: ,

We have been Thur that twice now. We had to put down both our cats about 1 1/2 yr apart. It's the kindest thing you can do when our pets get to that point. It's very sad, but better than them suffering.

A few years later, we now have two cats and a dog.
Hopefully we have another 10 to 15 years to go before we will go Thur that again.

Just back from a hockey game... left early, it was UGLY and DS has school tomorrow..... How is everyone tonight?

OOOH my gosh what an awfull story glad that you were allright... Our friends who live in Florida tell us that is the way hospitals down there are all of the time. Our friend was having a miscarriage once and she waited close to 24 hours before she was seen. The health care system down there is not very good, I gather........................Glad that you were all right !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope so!!!! There's just so much to do here - it's a 1930's place that hasn't seen much refurbishment and we've put up with it for the past few years... Gotta bite the bullet now as ceilings are sagging, the electrics are hopeless AND WE NEED MORE SPACE!!! :scared: :scared: :scared:
sounds like this house, Ours was built in 1946, needs lots of work,
