Hey, Hey, HEEEYY!!! Don't be calling my idea "lame"! :rotfl:

I'm not saying _what_ exactly, but the recipient of my bag will be gettin' some DL trinkets...and maybe some other stuff, too.

Did I mention I LOVE ANYTHING Disney??? LOL :rotfl: :lmao:

Oh, I'm so relieved......I wasn't sure people would want something Disney. :lmao: (she said with much sarcasm)

DBnMV - you know what they say...great minds think Disney...I mean alike. :rotfl:

Bethipooh4 - ok, now is Pooh Bear the one who sang the Bear Necessities? :rotfl2:

I hope ya'll know I'm totally kidding. :rolleyes1

OH MY...I feel faint... :faint: :faint:

We made it to page 45..... :cheer2:

And 27 days to go.....

We were on the 2cd page again.

I'd post a picture but I don't know how. I can't even figure out how to make a thread be bold when you start a new one.

I also love Pooh bear, thought I'd do my nursery in it. I think I overdid it, for awhile everyone bought me pooh stuff for every occasion. I still love the bear, but I've toned down. No pooh nursery (but some pooh in DD &DS room), but we still have the pooh bathroom. (I even have pooh christmas towels, and a little pooh tree for it) and a ceramic pooh dressed as a bee on a pumpkin for halloween. I still have pjs and some clothes, but recently gave alot of them to goodwill. Thruth be told, sometimes I think Lumpy is my favorite now.

DS(9) nursery was also done in Pooh....I know how you feel, once everyone found out about it, everything I received had Pooh on it....

I admit I am out of the loop and had to do a search on what a Lumpy was... :rotfl: He is so cute though.

Picture time....lets see, today we will be having our first stop at CC....So, here's looking forward to our stop(can you tell this is my favorite place, most of our pictures were taken there)

Good morning guys! Just checked the live post from the current double dip and the PIRATE SHIP is at CASTAWAY CAY!!!!!!!!!! :cool1: :bounce: pirate: :cheer2: I can't believe the rumors are true!! Can't wait to see it 4 short weeks from today!!! :dance3:

Oh, man...no wonder everyone talks about Castaway Cay. That place looks great, Bethipooh. Another nice shot.

On posting pictures - the easiest way is to find someplace to host them, like Shutterfly , or Costco's Photocenter . Then you can upload your pictures to that site (the site will show you how).

When you have the view of the picture you want, right-click on it and copy the image properties (this is the web address of the picture).

When you compose a post on disboards, there's a button that looks like a picture of a mountain range - it'll prompt you to enter the web address of the picture - paste the web address of the picture from the previous step.

Make sure you Preview your post before submitting it, to see if your picture shows up.

And having said all that, my older boy was looking over my shoulder and asked "Where's' MY picture?" Sooo, here's what the Mickey pool looks like early in the morning.

Well, I just got back from a scrapbooking convention (gotta do something with all those Disney photos  ) and I wanted to jump on the David and Ivan bandwagon. We're doing the basic ruins tour as well, so there will be quite a few of us Magic folks on that bus. :cool1:

I checked cruisecal.com and we are the only ship in Costa Maya that day. David and Ivan had said our tour would all be from the Magic. I guess we will have the port to ourselves.

Also we are the first ship to dock at Cozumel. there are 2 other ships that day in port. I hope the depart time is wrong. It says 5:30. Our DCL excursion ends at 5:20 and I thought the last tender was at 6:00 pm. Our excursion time was pushed back so maybe our departure time hasn't been updated on cruisecal's site. I'm not going to worry since it's a DCL excursion they can make sure the ship doesn't leave w/o us.

:cool1:

Happy Monday to all!. Mine is much better than last week's, hope everyone else's is the same.

I don't know whether any one was interested in Chankanaab Park in Cozumel, but I got an email this morning telling me that most of the park has re-opened. The websit is wilmacozumel dot com. Just a little FYI.

Only 26 more days!!

oh my gosh, i was so bummed when i heard that it was destroyed by the hurricane, because it looked so beautiful. i'm so glad it reopened! it's beautiful and i can't wait to go!!

i just realized that to counters went from month to day!!! :cheer2:

Happy Monday everyone!!!

A much better week here in NC too...All the fish are safe and snug back in their tank, and(knock on wood) we didn't lose any.

All the boys are done except for some dress shoes, that just leaves me. I have dinner clothes, my issue is shorts...Oh well, I still have some time.
Decided to give DS's a pass on suits for formal night, they will wear black dress pants and white shirts, with ties that match dad's. Important thing is none of them will clash with me.... :rotfl2:

Well, here is my Monday picture, of course I have to keep with the CC theme I seem to have developed...

So, I got hoodwinked into taking this cruise with my DW and DD. While I'm able to tolerate short exposures to all things Disney, I'm worryed that spending 7 full days (plus the days at the parks) on this ship will take me over the edge [and could put my family and fellow passenger in jeopardy :) ]. Now, before you get fanatically on me, I do have a serious question. Are there locations on this ship where one can avoid all things Mickey or am I just out of luck? Certainly off ship at Cozumel and Costa Maya I'll be able to revitalize myself for a few hours. But, what about while on the ship?

Help me, please. Thx

No worries... Spend some time in the Adult Pool or the Cove Cafe. If video games are your thing, they have an arcade. They have beer, martini, or even cigar samplings. Hang out at Beat Street at night - there's a sports bar, a piano bar, or a place for 60's or 70's night. After nine, these are full-fledged non-character, not-for-the-kiddies hangouts. I seem to recall some of the stand up comics last year had some R rated humor. Truth be told, if you're sufficiently motivated to avoid the Disney themed shows and the characters, there's usually something else to do.

Don't forget Palo - the service and food is top-notch. If it weren't for the nametags, you'd forget you were on a Disney boat.

Oh, and lastly, try to see the Disney parts of the cruise (that you get "stuck"
in and/or dragged to) through the eyes of your kid(s). Even when it's cheesy, the look on their face makes it pretty enjoyable. Of course if your DW is too old for that sort of thing, you can disregard that last sentence.

Even so, the service and activities on DCL are fully enjoyable, even without the characters and the shows.

Best wishes and welcome aboard!

I noticed ALL our excursions at both ports have had time changes made to them.

Welcome aboard Iceman....
I want to add deck 4 is a great place with comfy lounge chairs to sit and watch the water go by or take a nap, or just chill out.

icemanYou will really enjoy the cruise- I had to talk my husband into it 2 yrs ago and we're going on our 2nd soon....you pay alot for the cruise but disney does it all first class...the kids clubs give you some freedom to enjoy the adults only pool/deck and the other things like beer/wine tasting....etc.

Enjoy!!

also sometimes there are rated r, non disney movies playing at the theater.

Welcome aboard Iceman,

You must like Disney more than the average person to have found this site and to have posted on it. DH will also be looking to have some escape from all things Disney. We are actually skipping the parks in favor of Seaworld this time. (I know, I know, but my kids are 4 and this is our 2cd cruise and 5th trip to Orlando it's time to branch out a little)

My suggestions would be the adult pool and cove cafe (for fancy not free cofee drinks) or the sports bar (we only went in for a few minutes during the day, very laid back and they had a nacho and hot dog bar)

BTW how old is DD? DS and DD are 4 and always looking for new friends.
