Thanks for the support for my school issues. If I can get through the next 2 weeks, that will give me all summer to get ready to face it again!

I don't know what's with the weather. We have been highs in high 60's to low 70's which is very unusual for Atlanta! Of course while I am broiling in the sun at WDW I will be begging for this weather!

Hi everyone! I have been so busy with student teaching I haven't had time to post or read the DIS. Glad to see everyone is still busy planning. I have a bunch of stuff to do yet, but I hope to get most of it done this week. Wish me luck, I will be doing 2 full weeks now of full load student teaching. Hopefully all will go well. THen I will start hitting the stores and seeing what I can find. No luck on the swim suit yet, looks like I will have to order one. Just wanted to pop in and say hi. We're still here...just very busy!

BairdBeth, If they would, my sister who will be with us on the cruise and has about 22 years and teaches special ed would gladly join you.

DD14's birthday is today, and he is spending it in the rain, freezing, camping with boy scouts. He will be ready to talk cruising when he gets home tomorrow!

Happy birthday to your son!! CAMPING?!!? In 40 degrees and rain?!!? I think I would have begged to stay home! He's probably having a BALL!!!

Happy Mothers Day to all the Mom's on the board!!! Treat yourselves like queens today (even if it's only for 15 minutes!!)

Hi all,
It has been raining for a week and we now have a flooded basement! Spent the morning mopping and barley madea dent1 We're due for 5 more inches between now and Tuesday night!
I heard about the beches in Coz also, maybe we'll try and do a snorkel sail that takes you to reefs that are further out.
Bairdbeth: Look on the sunny side, we have 28 days left here! In the middle of testing, budget, placement, and clean up!

The weather seems to be the hot topic!!

Well, we just got back for our band trip to Hershey Park. We had a great trip! Our weather was AWESOME for our day in the park. Our groups preformed well, lots of tough competition. We did with a special award, the Espre de Corps. Sorry on the spelling I just spent since 5:30am on Fri until now with teens. There are NO brain cells alive at this time! The award is given to the group that shows the best support for the school's group, support for the other groups, overall best behavior (for lack of a better word right now).

Do you think I could be a Viking on pirate night? Because that's what I am right at this moment typing with my horned helmet!

Well, out countdown is 14 days of school!! DH and I have to get through 6 Spring programs, dance team tryouts, flag corps tryouts all in the next 2 weeks.

I am sooooooo ready to fly, especially after being on a bus all weekend.

Lorie- glad your trip went well. I remember going on the band trip to Hershey Park when I was in High School ( boy! Was that a long time ago! )

We got to get to work here if we are to reach 100 pages!

I started making a list of what clothes to pack. I think I need about 5 steamer trunks!

Just realized it is about time to call Shirley and order DD's basket for the room. Just got to figure how to do it without DD hearing ( it will be from ) Wow we really are getting close!

Hope that it stops raining soon for those with the flooding, but rains more for those with the forest fires!

I'm still shoppon for the trip. Got DH some new black pants and DS a swim top like a rash guard meant to block . Still not having a lot of luck for me. It always happens that way

Keep shopping Charla. I always find things for eveybody else in my family but not for myself. But then I get really lucky and will find a bunch of things all at once. Thought I found a dress today for semi-formal night but didn't like the way it looked on. Oh well, maybe next time. I did just get some more clothes for my girls. They were happy. They're costing me a fortune!

Wendilyn - Saw all of the flooding on the news. I hope that it clears up soon for you.

I'm so bummed, I though we only had 14 days left as of Mon, we really had 16 days! Well, Mon and tues are over, so I'm back to 14.

But boy is that countdown clock running out of time!! It's a lot better than this time last year!! I can't believe we are soooooo close!

Carole - good luck finding an outfit! I have an outfit put together that will work if I don't find a dress. Judging from the photos and comments I have read here I won't be under-dressed if I have to wear it. I hope I have time to shop a little more tonight though

I got my passport app. submitted today. It probably won't be here before the cruise but at least I have 1 of 3 taken care of.

I finally got an answer from Disney about a wedding cake. They do the small cakes for all celebrations, but for a real wedding cake, they only do them for passengers who book a wedding or vow renewal ceremony. Oh well, I guess the amll cake will have to do. I considering seeing about the possibility of a cake at Wilderness Lodge.

Bad news about the wedding cake--I'd certainly be willing to pay for it. Who did you talk to?

I wonder if I ask the concierge if they can pull any strings for me. Is there a way to contact them prior to the cruise.

I have seen weddings at WL, so Maybe you can get a cake there

That really is a shame about the cake. Maybe your head waiter can arrange for something a little more special than the standard cake that they give out. Make him earn the tip that everybody is always complaining about!

The sun is finally shining here in NH! we missed 2 days of school due to flooding. I hope we don't have to make it up, or that would be a huge problem for me, since the current last day for teachers is June 22nd!
It's amazing how much we depend on the sun! 8 days of clouds and rain, no recess! The kids were crazy!
I heard good news about the snorkel fury trip in Coz, we might switch to that since the beaches sound rough.
Looking forward to those DD reports!
