Tinky, did I just read you got your docs? That is SO awesome and yes, I'm jealous.

They came Friday. I'm sure most others will start coming in Monday. We leave on the Friday the 16th and I can't wait.

I read on the 5/27 thread that the PLA rotation had their character breakfast on Friday, the second CC day. The early dining wouldn't be bad because I think it starts at 8...but the late dining wouldn't have their CB until 9:30 or 9:45. Why go on a double dip cruise and miss part of the second CC day?

So, if you have late dining, you may want to request one of the other rotations.

Happy Birthday FantasiaMM!!! This is the big 4-oh for me too! I remember thinking how OLD my mom was when she turned 40. Now, I see my kids looking at me the VERY same way!!!

I am having a great time--unofficially done teaching. The school I am at this morning had a pool party today since it was cancelled Fri. and my afternoon school is having field day-this was up in the air depending on weather. It is bright and sunny for all!!! So no classes!!

No classes tomorrow, just awards and a picnic. Oh yeah!!

Well, I've destroyed my house over the past few weeks trying to get ready for the cruise. Now it's time to get down to business!!! I must make the final cuts on outfits!!! I know, a terrible job

But first I must pretend to work this afternoon. No one knows where I am or what I'm doing. Hey, I'm not gonna tell. Who knows what they will put me in charge of!!!!

I just called DCL. Good news for those that booked thru them, the docs have been sent out on the 2nd. So you should see them tomorrow or Wednesday.

To Doingitagain, you booked thru Costco, right? I did too. So we should see them by the end of the week sometime! Maybe sooner. Good luck everyone.

Hello "Double Dip Deuce Group"!! (the second double dip group).

I have a proposition for any family who responds first. I would like to surprise my girls with Double Dip T-Shirts prior to going on our 08/19/06 cruise. We always like to wear matching T-shirts for the embarkation photos so what better shirt to wear??

My request: The T-shirts costs 14.95 and I need four: 1 Large, 1 Adult Small or Child Large (depending on how they run) and a 3T or something that would fit my little one (something she will grow into is better than too small).

My offer: If you will buy these shirts for me while on CC I will pay for yours to (up to 4 shirts or about $60 value). I will pay for shipping of my shirts once you get back home and you give me a total shipping cost.

Since there is an almost 2 month difference between your cruise and ours there wouldn't be any rush to ship me the shirts; I just want them before we leave for vacation (08/17/06).

The first family who takes me up on this offer I will mail you a check before you sail for up to $120 depending on how many shirts your family needs.

BTW…I don’t believe there is tax on the shirts, but I will include that also if there is.

Wow, I can't believe we are past the 100 page mark . We are getting so busy with school ending in 9 days, softball games, concerts, picnics, etc... It is just non-stop moving for us. I need a vacation

disgal1 - sorry to hear about your mom our thoughts go out to you. My family is doing David and Ivan as well so we will see you there. We are also on deck 6 so look for our door (I am making some signs so you shouldn't miss it )

Oregonmouse - We have a dd that is 8 as well and one that is 12. If your dds would like to have an email pal before the trip just send me a pm and we will hook them up. We did the dolphin excursion on a 4 day cruise in the Bahamas and it was great. The girls loved it.

Jillpie - Congrats on the graduation. There were a lot of grad parties around here this weekend and I know the kids were having a lot of fun.

I am also thinking about the baskets and could use any suggestions. I have two DDs that are 8 and 12. We have been to Disney a lot so don't really need anymore stuffed animals. It would be great to get stuff we can use on the cruise. What have people gotten for their trips? I will be calling Shirley soon for ideas.

I went shopping this weekend and got my laundry bag, clothes pins on hooks, some hooks on suction cups, stain sticks for laundry, some cool door decorations, a message board, fabric markers for the pillowcases, zipploc bags, and lots more. I think I have over packed and I haven't even packed yet .

My DH is getting really excited about the trip. He usually isn't into this but since school is winding down and we are so busy he is looking for a break. We made our countdown paper chain so the girls can see how many days left. I can't wait.

Here are my thoughts: meet for breakfast around 7:30 and take off around 8.
Once on the beach we should meet just past Tequila Beach near the clear Kayaks.

Yeah!! Everyones starting to get their docs! I new some others would start arriving today. I'm in West Palm Beach, thats like just down the road so I was bound to get them quickly. Hope everyone has a great week!

We put in a request through our TA about 2 years ago.

My son graduated Thurs in the pouring rain--it was special sitting there from 6:30-9:30 getting drenched. Yesterday they had a mass and reception at church for the seniors. he ended up going with my parents because we had to have our dog put to sleep--last night was his party, so I am exhausted, but better think about shopping. usually by now i am more organized.

Wow ya'll were busy while I was away! I thought I was better Saturday at noon, but back the fever came with a vengance that evening. I spent the rest of the weekend asleep and in bed. I was paranoid I would get sick before the cruise. I am sooo thankful it happened now and not right as we were leaving!!!
Beth A- sorry for your loss I have been there several times. Try reading the Rainbow Bridge. It helped us.

I saw the pictures of the special shirts and I MUST HAVE!!!!!
Just tried on some of DD's cruise clothes. She has grown since we went through them for consignment in Feb/March. Oh No! We have to go shopping!
We also found out that DD's swim team pictures will be taken just before we leave and that the end of the season party is the day after we come back. What timing! She won't miss anything ( well, 2 meets)! DD is sooo excited to meet all her e-mail friends! SHe just can't wait any longer!
