My dds just saw this forum for the first time... they each want to pick out a smilie... dd (8) says: How much longer??!! dd(10) says I am going to email some new friends!

Are there any moms over 40 that will be parasailing w/ dds on the second day CC? At 3:30? We will be there, just looking for another brave mom!!

Has anyone received their documents yet??????? Will be at the Hyatt at airport the night before..... anyone else??

We have the 3:30 parasailing on the first CC day. I wasn't going to go at first, but I found a very helpful parasailing thread on the DIS board from other tentative people and they "talked" me into it.

I had an idea which will help everyone figure out the DIS meets and add to our page count (because of longer signatures). See my signature? I added the DIS events that I plan on attending. If we all did something like that, we could figure out who was going to be where and when they will be there. What do you think?

P.S. Can you believe they don't have an ice cream in the Smilies?

If you haven't already done so, check your times for shore excursions. I think they updated them after the last Double Dip. Our Tulum excursion in Cozumel is now 8:20 - 4:21 rather than 9:00 - 5:00. That will help us get back for Pirates Night and still have time to stop at Hard Rock for the obligatory shirts.

Yes, 4:21 is right. I wonder how they figure out when we will return down to the minute?

My son Pat graduated from high school last night! It was actually a great graduation in our brand new high school and in a nice new gorgeous gym. It was just awesome to see him and all his friends.

We did so much shopping today! Now that all the festivities are over for senior week, I can focus on some real fun.

Whoever gets their docs first, you must come to your computer at once!!!! And let us all know. And then we'll get jealous. We'll all get them soon enough though!

Wow! You guys sure posted alot. When I left to go shopoing today we were on page 99. Now we're up to 101.

Lori - You had me LOL tonight with your comment about 200 pages. My DH is looking at me like I am nuts.

I did get some shopping done today. I even bought a lime green top to wear the first day of the cruise! I can't wait. I can feel the excitement! We went to dinner with friends tonight and were talking about how it is only 3 weeks till we're on the ship! We were also talking about the calamari at Palo. It is definately the best calamari we have ever had! Can't wait. My DH actually had the nerve to suggest that it might not be on the menu anymore. God forbid!

Oh well, it is pretty late. Better get to bed! Talk to you all tomorrow!

Doingitagain.....we did the Tulum trip a few years ago, it was beautiful!!!!! we loved it! it was HOT!! , and make sure you bring along some ginger or peppermint for the ferry trip over, if the waves are up, it gets a little rocking if you are prone to motion sickness.
I think we took 2 rolls of pix just at tulum and the beach there.!!

I like your idea about adding the meets to the signature, I can't remember how I did it the first time!

Jillpie...Congrats on your son's graduation!!!! Is he going with a bunch of seniors somewhere? My oldest graduated 3 years ago, and youngest is next year. I'm trying to get him to drop the beach weak, but no luck so far.


Oregonmouse....I still haven't signed up for the parasailing...I finally had Lasik done on my eyes ( which was always my excuse before). I think I may go for it if there are any slots left!!

I found a lime green shirt for the dis meet at BC on friday...we'll be staying at BC and are eating at Cape May at 6, so that will work out perfectly!!

Marie, I'm with disgal1, I'm am technology-challenged, I';; have to work on that one.

There is ice cream toward the bottom of the "more" smilie section.

We're not doing anything scheduled at CC, unless of course you count reserving a raft!!!! Since ds will be doing the teen wild side on Mon. We're going snorkeling at Serenity Bay since we've never been.

Did you read they had t-bone steaks at Serentiy Bay on the last DD???

Way to go Doingitagain on the DIS gatherings on your post!! This is soooo helpful for those of us who can't seem to keep it straight in our heads (like me!!!)

And once I figure out how to do that I will!! I'll try to add the excursions as well. So my next post will probably not appear until next week!!

So where are you finding the lime green shirts? I can't find one!!!

Disgal - last time I checked there were still several slots left on the 2nd CC Day

Lorie - we are going to snorkel on the 2nd CC day. We have DS in flounders for a few hours that morning. I figure by day 6 he is going to flat be worn out! He will still get several hours @ CC that day.

I'm so excited, just got back from JC Penneys where I found a wonderful lime green skirt and white top. Just makes me more excited about the cruise. DH will have his lime green shirt on, as well. Looking forward to the Beaches and Cream meet at 4:00 on Friday and the meet on the ship for sail away.

To edit your signature, click on the User CP in the top left corner of the red menu bar. Then you will see "edit signature" on the left side. It works just like posting replies.

I only added the DIS meets that I was going to try to attend. I know others have plans at CC, Costa Maya, etc.

Lorie, I found the smilie for ice cream...it was Mickey Bar, which was why I missed it the first time.

I just turned 40....I got birthday wishes from lots of DIS'ers last week.....and I'm going to be parasailing with my DS the 2nd day at 3:30 -- so Lorie should be able to get lots of embarrassing footage for the big screen.

I'm going to be a brave little soldier! But I'm nervous.

Thanks everyone for the congrats on Pat's graduation! He's been partying this entire weekend with all his friends, jumping from one house to the next. How fun is that. No, I didn't cry, but I almost did. Okay, who invented Pomp and Circumstance anyway?? No, he's not going away, but this trip in 2 weeks and the cruise is his graduation present!

Tinky, did I just read you got your docs? That is SO awesome and yes, I'm jealous.

Well, guess what guys? Its TWO WEEKS TOMORROW FOR US! We'll be leaving for Disney world Monday June 19th. I can't stand it. I spent the whole weekend packing for my son's 8th grade trip to Pa. and NYC. I can't wait for all of this to end so I can start focusing on OUR trip! But I hope he has a ball, I've never been to NYC.
