From: Omaha, NE
Stateroom(s): 7018
Celebration(s):
Dining: Late
Partipate in FE: Definitely!
Prior Disney Cruises: For Ruth and Beth this will be #9, Sandy it will be #5, and AJ it will be #3 (Details in my signature)
A few words about you and your group: Beth and Sandy are cousins to Gabby (mom2grant) who also sailed with us in 2012! Keeping the Disney Magic alive by spreading it to whomever we come in contact with! pixiedust: Ruth was the DisBoards and FE coordinator for the Sailing The Dream 6/15/2012 Cruise and is thrilled that someone else is doing it this time. :cool1:

You should also count us in for bracelets and mixology!!! Great job on the board and the FE list!!!

Got you on the FE List! :welcome:

So.....I've been meaning to ask.....does anyone in our group buy, sell or trade Disney pins? I'm addicted, I've got to admit. I hope to infect many of my nieces and nephews with pin-trading on our next trip.

Several in our family buy pins, but we don't trade them --- we display them!

I'm putting together a display myself for our Disney themed bedroom. I took a large corkboard and sprayed the cork and frame black. Will try to be creative on it.

I am so addicted to pins that I left Palo before the dessert to go to the officer's swap. I'm reminded again and again by everyone that I missed out on the chocolate soufflé.....perhaps if history repeats itself one of my family members will get it 'to go'!

Update - added additional member to our party

A few words about you and your group:
Disney cruises are my "happy place". Looking forward to going back on the upgraded Magic next after this cruise. Would love a Med cruise someday, but the airfare was crazy.

Leaving tomorrow for 8 days at the World. I'll keep tabs on what's happening here, but probably won't do any updates to the spreadsheet until we get home. So bear with me please.

OMG, so happy for you. I just bought air ticket to go to Fort Lauderdale in december, so hopping for a road trip to Disney.

Oh and totally forgot to tell you all, although we don't really KNOW each other . . . but last Wednesday I decided to do some interval training on the bike at the gym at work. Only got about 3 minutes done and . . . BAM - heart attack. OK, it was minor, but it was still a heart attack. They put in a stent and I'm A-OK with no restrictions. In fact, after the echocardiogram, the doctor reading it said that if he wasn't told that I had a heart attack, he wouldn't have known. I got out Saturday morning and was back at work this Monday. NOT EVEN A HEART ATTACK will keep me from Disney!

Got the OK to take vacation, and I'm feeling fine, although the meds sometimes mess with me by lowering my already healthy (120/76) blood pressure down a bit.

Everyone said I was doing the right thing by exercising. I've been eating 'paleo' for 10 months and after the first 2 weeks, my acid reflux disappeared and I have not taken an antacid the entire time. I've dropped 30 pounds and feel great. I wish I had done this 20 years ago and I wouldn't be in trouble now.

So that's my tale. I'm going to have some fun now!

Holy crap John :scared1:!! I'm glad that your heart attack was minor and didn't keep you from WDW. I hope you have a great time and that the heat isn't too oppressive :scared:.

Please remove us from your trip list. Due to potential end of school sports conflict, we are having to move our trip to Spring Break (March 15th Fantasy). I hope you all have a wonderful time!

So glad to hear your OK! Hope you enjoyed your WDW trip! If you could I will need an edit on my cabin... Remove DH :sad2: from our cabin and add DSIL Roni (48) on day 2 :)
Also, I've never done FE, do we gift all 73 people or will we be grouped in smaller groups? TIA for the help!

My kids DD10 and DD6 do but quite loosely, they love it though!

Also forgot, funny story...discovered my pin set from completing the Disney College of Knowledge on my DD Shelby's lanyard! SO glad I discovered that before they were traded! NOT trading those!

Hey, Melynda....I took care of the update!!!

Hi . It's been a while since I posted in here. I have to update our info but, I wanted to reach out with a couple of questions....

Anyone on the boards going to DW prior to the cruise? I believe we are going to be there for 10 days before ( staying at AofA- daughters choice so, I guess I'm okay that she wants to go on the cheap side. We were there last year when parts of it first opened (that time we stayed at POP, for the 2nd time)

Also, is there a group started for the 18-21 yr olds yet? This will be our 6th time on DCL but, my daughter is a little weary of being at that in between age.

I look forward to getting to know you guys and having a wonderful vacation next year. Julie
