05/09/2009 May 9, 2009 7-Night Eastern St Maarten... Watch Out!

As I was trying to update the FE list today my free trial of office 07 expired so I had to make a run to Best Buy to buy the full version. Many stops later here I am posting the FE List that I said I would have up at about 10am. Again sorry for the delay but I had to get the kids to bed so the Easter Bunny could stop here at our house LOL!!

Please look at the info and let me know if everything is correct. Also I have pm the few rooms that did not make it in time for the FE List for their room #'s and other info so I will update that info as soon as they get back to me.

Happy Easter!!!

I didn't know that they did a show about the dry dock. That would be great to watch. In some ways though it will be a bit of a tease. AHHHH these next 4 weeks need to fly by. Does anyone on here know how to speed up time? LOL:lmao:

Is everyone that is going to do the fish exchange buying or making a real FE or are some using decorated bags? I used a bag last time and I am thinking about buying an FE, but I was wondering what the rest of the group is doing!

I wish we had the DIY network. Bummer!

For the FE, we are using the FE given to us on a cruise in 2005. I think it's the type selling on Ebay.

I just updated the site with (I think) all the changes. I'm staying up late to try after 35 years to get a glimpse of the Easter Bunny but I'm fading fast. I may just call it a night and try again next year.

Anyway, I updated Rominet (via PM) and akl432, ufcabear, MickeyCruiser, airtime247, and lyn9586. I also compared it with Kristen's updated FE list and it matches except for the cabin changes Rominet sent me.

Happy Easter!

I bought one on EBay. The seller makes great stuff; I also bought some pillowcases embroidered with Disney characters to leave at the guest services desk for autographs from her.
I can give you her info if you want - just be warned that I spent more than I wanted to because the product was so beautiful!

The Easter bunny just finished up at our house.

Yes, we are doing the day room at MCO the sat we get off the Magic. It just seemed to make sense for us. We have done the down town disney after getting off (before our flight) but it was kinda a pain we had to rent a car and by the time we got the car... loaded all our stuff (luggage & kids) we only had about two or so hours. To spend more money at the disney store and feed our kids, which now coats $ again & then hurry back to the airport for are flight across country (literally). I was so exhausted!! This way we can go relax let the kids swim, take a nap, reorganize suitcases that we threw together minutes before we had to have them out side of our room (the night before) I think we are paying around $125 for 10am to 6pm.

As to the FE we ordered ours from Ebay. I really don't think it matters what you use or where you get it from.

I so have to go to bed... I'm spending more time deleting then typing :surfweb:

Good Night and happy Easter to all:flower3:

oh yeah 26 more days!!!:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

Happy Easter from UK!

Hope everyone has a great day. Whats everyone doing?
We have my Mum staying with us until Tuesday, and my gorgeous son and his girlfriend are visiting for a late lunch.
I am happy in the kitchen.........Chicken and Vegetable Terrine with Spiced Pear for starters, Salmon Wellington for mains, and Coconut and Vanilla pannacotta with Mango and White Chocolate for dessert. We are pretending we are in Palos ha ha :rotfl2:
The sun isnt out yet, but forecast is a warm 15-16 deg, ....good for us at this time of year methinks
My desktop countdown ticker tells me I have 12 days to go before boarding one of Mr Bransons big red planes.........:yay::yay:
Still lots to do though...a 1000 word assignment to write, packing, a pirate dress to sew.......:scared1: I was wishing time to hurry..but now its almost running too fast!!
Best wishes
Lyn

Kristen and Steve- Thanks for the updated lists! :thumbsup2

As for the actual FE, I'm making my own. :) I'm not very good at sewing...but I thought it would be fun. So please don't laugh at mine if it turns out way ugly... :rotfl:

Happy Easter from Texas!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day.

Hi Kristin,

Happy Easter to you and everyone on this board, and thanks for the updated listing. I am going to attempt to make my own FE this week. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it turns out OK. I have a few questions on this exchange:

1-What is approx length and width of average FE?
2-Do we wrap all the gifts?
3-I assume we give separate gifts to all kids, but what about adults? One per cabin ??

This is our first DCL and although there are many postings on this subject here, I haven't found these questions addressed.

Thanks to all,
Marilyn

Happy Easter everyone!

Scottie, did the search on Hotwire again, no Hyatt came up for the 2 adults, but when I went 2 adults and 2 children as you suggested, it came up!! Don't want to book it that way, as we will not have children. Will keep watching it!:thumbsup2

We bought a basic Mickey FE from eBay. It shipped from China and was about $10 with shipping. The decorated bag idea sounds great!

How I wish we only had 12 days to go too! You are LUCKY!!
Make sure to write your 1000 word essay about your great DIS cruise family! :goodvibes

Im not postive on the suggested max size of the FE's. I think ours is smaller then most but will do the job.

We personally are not wrapping the gifts, but have heard of people doing that. We are considering putting all of the gifts for a room in a party treat type bag so we can keep it in order and then just deliver everything in one bag per room.
We are doing a gift for each kid and as for the adults for the most part we are doing one or two per stateroom... depending on the makeup of the adults in the room.

I think we kind of agreed earlier on we wouldnt set too many rules so that everyone could have the freedom to do as they wanted and have their own fun planning.

Happy Easter Everyone!

Happy Easter to you to Marilyn!

1. As for the Length of the FE I have no CLUE!!!:confused3

2. You do not need to wrap the gifts only if you want to.

3. As for the gift's that is totally up to you. I am doing two different gifts. Both are more of an adult gift/ family gift. Some will get one and some will get the other. I like both of my choices so much I had to do both. My gifts are hand made.

Hope that this helps just a bit. I will try and find info on the size of the FE.

Hi guys,
Here is a link to the seller for the FE that we bought - you won't find ours, but the other FEs are great too, I'm sure. If you click through into the individual items the dimensions are listed.
She's a great seller and she personalizes the FEs.

http://myworld.ebay.com/gradysmommy/

You'd probably need to get in touch with her asap to get an FE in time for our cruise from her at this point, but it's well worth it!

Happy Easter everyone!!

We are using a decorated cloth bag (I am not crafty at all and have neither the time nor ability to try to make a FE that looks halfway decent) ;)

1-What is approx length and width of average FE?

I made a trial FE that was 8"X16" but I think it looks a bit short. I think my next one will be 8"X24" or so. I don't think you will want to go wider than 8" though cuz it might hit the sides. Hope that helps. :)

Yeah we thought about making our own last cruise, but then I discovered that I am just not that crafty. Heck I still am not sur if I am creavtive enough to make any door signs. SWe may end up with a boring old door after all...
