With a VERY heavy heart I need to cancel tha Repo portion of this adventure. My job won't give me all the time off I need to do the B2B, so I've decided to stick with the Alaska portion....atleast I'll still get to see a good chunk of you

Hey hey everybody!!!

I'm getting a headache trying to figure out what we should do on this vacation... so I thought I'd come here and say hey! Try to avoid a migraine
LOL

I'm trying to figure out if we should drive to Ca before the trip, do our Ca thang -you know. LOL Then Jeff meet up with us (fly in later due to work) on the 25th and pick him up- then park the vehicle at the port (don't know the port name yet to even find out how much that costs. Seems I knew at one point but lost any notes I took LOL) then go on the cruises--- then um.. Jeff fly home (again due to work) and then we fly back to LAX- get trans to port to get my vehicle and drive home?

Or if we should just fly in early, rent a vehicle -so then we can do the things we want to, pick up DH at airport when he comes in... hopefully a way to drop it off near port with shuttle to port?- then just all fly home from Vancouver.

I'm trying to figure out which would be less expensive (or if they are close in price- i'm gonna fly instead of driving LOL I don't mind the drive there- but I would not look forward to the drive home after the vacation! I'd only do that if I'm saving money to do so)

What port are we leaving from?
What port are we docking at -at the end of the Alaska cruise?

I would like more info on this, too. We are toying with the idea of flying to Phoenix to see DBIL, then renting a car and driving to LA and dropping said rental car at the port if possible. We can always turn it in near DL early and family will give us a ride to DL for a shuttle to save $$ too. I just don't want to inconvenience her in traffic on a weekday morning.

I just checked and there are 3 excursions for San Fran, all Alcatraz & Sausalito. None yet for Victoria though.

So, I guess Disney is slowly putting them on the wedsite for us.
