Hello All,
DW booked us on this cruise B2B while we were on the BCN to Dover.
First all I can say about the repo is....what a trip.
We now need a vacation from our vacation!!!
5 nights is BCN...7 night cruise...5 nights in southeastern England. Real introduction to World Cup. Brits really take football seriously!!!!
Lost of driving (wrong side)... lots of castles lots of pubs, and Brighton WOW, what a ride!!!
Anyhow, back to the topic,
Sent PM to Bonzie1 for roster listing, thanks Georgie!
It will be great to see all of our old friends... and meet all of our new ones!
Most of the time, I will be lurking around, but you never know where we might post.
Shall we pack the long johns?

Bad news and good news. We have cancelled our Repo and inaugural Alaskan cruise for 2011.
But we are going to try for the Mexican Riviera instead.
Our son, Michael, is graduating from Duke Law School the same time we'd be cruising!
Everyone have fun! We'll see you on another cruise!

Booked our flights tonight....arriving in LA on April 22 - going to enjoy 5 days at Disneyland before boarding the Wonder.
Welcome aboard Ken & Christie
Connie & Chuck....we'll miss you...but I know you'll have a great time celebrating your son's graduation onboard!!!!

We're arriving the 22nd as well! Plan to stay at the Disneyland Hotel, but it doesn't seem like 2011 bookings are open yet. August, maybe? Like the World? Since that's right around Easter, I'd like to get things booked asap. Plus, I'm an anal planner who already has a spreadsheet for these cruises, lol.
We are so alike....we are planning on staying at the Disneyland Hotel too!!!! Hoping for Easter brunch at Goofy's Kitchen....been doing tons of research on Disneyland....I will feel so much better when we actually book our room....I'm also considering upgrading our WDW annual passes to the Disney Premier Pass (WDW & DL)....

I checked today to see if Disney put anything up about shore excursions yet for the Repo cruise. Nothing yet. We are 300 days out.
I can't believe how booked up the cruise is! There is not much left for inside or oceanview staterooms.
I noticed our GTY stateroom has been given a stateroom assignment. I am wondering if this is normal so far out, or if our room might change still? Does anybody have any experience with this?
I have not yet booked flights, but I'm looking into it. I suppose I should do it soon!
DCL probably assigned the GTYs because everything is pretty much sold out. There probably isn't much room to upgrade people, so they might as well assign the cabins. Of course at PIF things could change, and yes, you could be reassigned, but it is not very common.
If you want to see what might be offered for shore excursions in San Francisco, check this link for Princess http://www.princess.com/learn/shorex/shorexdisplay.jsp most cruise lines offer pretty much the same thing. One thing that I am hoping is that DCL offers the Disney Family Museum as an excursion. But if they don't, I am sure I will do it with a lot of my friends. (group of about 16 cabins)
I haven't booked flights as I need to know if DCL is providing transport from Vancouver to Seattle, if not I will have to arrange that and SWA has not released their schedule pat early January yet.
ARRIVING FROM SEATTLE
Quick Shuttle offers bus service between Seattle Tacoma Airport, Downtown Seattle, Bellingham Airport and Vancouver. Call 1-800-665-2122 or book online at www.quickcoach.com.
The train between Seattle and Vancouver makes a very scenic run, and avoids long waits at the border. It leaves Seattle in the morning and arrives before noon in Vancouver. (It returns to Seattle from Vancouver in the evening.) Both Canada Place and Ballantyne Pier are about a 15-minute taxi ride from the station. Check www.amtrak.com for rates and times.
Cruise Lines often fly passengers to Seattle and bring them by coach to Vancouver. The coach ride is 3 hours which, on top of a long flight can make for a very tiring start to your vacation. It may be possible to request an air deviation, for specific flights of your choice. If the Cruise Line is able to comply with your request, there is a service charge, normally around $75.00 per passenger. Discuss this with your agent when booking your cruise.
Good Morning Cruisers!
Yesterday I tried to change my dining assignment from late to early, and was told that because the cruise was sold out I was put on a waiting list - guess I will try again after final payment is due, it usually seems that some rooms free up at that point. It will be strange to be on a full ship after the last 2 cruises of fairly empty ships!
Have a great day all!
