Had an
awesome waiter in the Prom Lounge on the Magic last week (Victor from Chile) who, once he discovered my love of flavoured fizz, kept bringing me little 'tasters' to tickle my tastebuds!!!

Naturally he received an honourable mention on the comment card...

Oh and they were serving a new one on me at Palo's brunch - Midori and champagne, YUM!!! Plus it matched my lime green cardigan... Maybe that should be my 'thing' - clothes to coordinate with cocktails..?
Oh my...I hope your DH knows he has a contender for your affections! I had to warn DH the other day that it was lucky I loved him so much or I might have to leave him for the baker at this new cupcake store. Seriously...it was a salted caramel frosting on dark chocolate cake...who wouldn't?!
Hubby got a short notice business trip to London in November and I am going to tag along as I have airline credit that must be used. Never been to London or EVEN overseas so I had a lot to learn in a short time.
How wonderful! I've always wanted to go to UK! Then again, I've always had a little bit of a "Parent Trap" meets "An Affair to Remember" obsession with getting there on the Queen Mary. But I'd take what I could get -- plane, raft, whatever

Have fun!
Didn't want this to get buried in my last post. So for all the uber planners out there....
Easter for 2011 will be Sunday, 4/24/2011. That will be the Sunday before we board in LA on Wednesday.
Oh keee-rap. I didn't even think about that. I guess it will have a crowd impact on DL and flights? Well, no waiting around on flight deals this time around; better take what I can get!
So it will be interesting to be able to go out on the decks and not have sweltering heat/humidity... cool with humidity I'll probably like better.
Vigorous love of champagne cocktails?
We've sailed in January and in May -- DH shrieked like a school girl getting into the pool on the first and I contemplated heat stroke one day on deck on the latter. I too am looking forward to some sort of balance. That being said, the first time we went to SF I was shivering on some outlook on HWY 1 in September in a sweater and shorts. A lady walked past me, snorted and said, "Tourist! You know, this isn't Southern California" (and it's a good thing she told me or I might have gone looking for Tijuana but ended up in San Jose

)
Well it just isn't a
Disney Cruise if it doesn't involve a Kir Royale
Why not just make this the Repo
and B2B thread. Why segregate when you can integrate???

I agree. I don't really know most of you yet, nor am I sailing on the Alaska leg, but I kind of enjoy reading about your plans

Let us live vicariously through you (and I don't mean that as creepy as it sounds).
Only 3 months 'til Christmas!
Oh you did not just say that...
Anyone think that
DCL will offer a wine excursion? Although I think it will likely be far simpler to just rent a car and do it ourselves. Last time we just picked up a car near Fisherman's Wharf, did Napa and Sonoma, brought it back in the evening to avoid paying the (insane!) parking fee at our hotel. Easy peasy! Though a guided excursion would be worthwhile if it involves vineyards not normally open to the public....um, oh yeah, and a driver i.e. not having to spit out the wine quite so much
