Here's What I have to Date... a snippet from my spreadsheet. I will make a link to the complete spreadsheet on a future date.

23 Staterooms ~ 21 B2B ~ 45 Cruisers

The high percentage of B2B cruisers suggests the early booking date was successful in enabling people to book the same cabin for both cruises.

It would have been difficult to book the same cabin for both cruises if lots of cabins were getting booked for single cruises. We encountered that on Royal Caribbean. Fortunately we were able to get the same cabin (B2B2B), but others couldn't and had to pack and move to another cabin.

I love seeing flower gardens, but was curious if Canada's growing season would be "up and running" when we get there?

I think Canada's gardens are probably still buried under SNOW in April... Right Elaine???

Other's have asked that as well... I did post on the other thread... 1st Alaskan to get an idea... just don't want to leave others stranded if they aren't doing both.

Too funny about the snow! That could be. But... After all it IS a DISNEY cruise!!!

Why not just make this the Repo and B2B thread. I'm only doing the first leg but most of my probable tablemates are B2B-ing and I want to chat on the same thread as them... Why segregate when you can integrate???

I agree, on B2B thread, let's not make it hard on ourselves here, after all this is a vacation

I called today and added some TBA to my LA-Van repo. I figure it will be Molly and Wilson sadly, my room only holds 3 people, oh well, Paul really didn't want to go anyways really, I think he would pass if he had the option. The price was just too good not to book the TBA's for my room, so I did it with only 2 $125 deposits.

I'm sadly thinking that Alaska may be too $$$ for us (Paul asked me if I'd rather be a SAHM or cruise, duh, be a SAHM is higher on my list right now), but I'm leaving the deposits there for now and if we have the money a year from now, then we'll go, if we don't I'll auction my name and rooms off to the highest bidder so they can have my gold day on board discounted rates :yes:: I'm kidding I know that won't work) unless you really wanna be illegal that is

Here's hoping the money train pulls into all our stations in the next year or so

You're stuck with us as tablemates, that is unless you and Richard will be preferring to dine with a more refined crowd on this cruise rather than us rabble.

We're going to have to get you and Richard to join us in dressing up on theme night, once the muse strikes me with what the theme is.

By the way, in my mind, as I've said before this really one big journey with folks either staying for one or the other leg of the journey, or both legs.

Sad that you'll only experience the first leg of mayhem

I'm not sure having the same room for both cruises (or rather NOT having the same rooms) is really going to deter someone from booking both cruises?
It certainly wouldn't deter us. Sure it would be a pain to pack and move stuff- but it's not enough to make us just give up one of the cruises. LOL

The sad part is that it appears we will be sailing into the bay very early in the morning since the ashore time is 7:30am (does anyone remember the big welcome into LA that first time back in 2005 - not).

We might get a bigger send-off the next day since all aboard is at 3:00pm and it's a Saturday.
