Thanks! This fabric was in the clearance bin at Joann, which was a big influencer. DF isn't too into Disney rolleyes so I didn't want to make a Disney-explosion FE.

I'm really not too sure what I'm doing, just kind of winging it based on some tutorials on the boards.

Ditto for me, chrisrunty, I will be happy to add your cabin to my FE gifts - now what to do for gifts???? I have some ideas but I am not the creative type. I am trying to keep it simple and not too bulky too. Also my DH doesn't know about it yet.... I am working it in slowly on filling him in on the FE stuff, much like mindyjoy's DF, my hubby is not a Disney fanatic, but he enjoys Disney.

Calmom, Thanks again for taking charge of the FE, and have a wonderful time at GC - we stayed there for 2 nights last year for my daughter's first trip to Disneyland and her 4th b-day, and we had a great time. We were able to go to Napa Rose's firepit patio (behind the bar) for appetizers and a drink (with our daughter) one evening and I highly recommend it! Hardly anyone was out there (just one other couple) and it was a nice place to relax for an hour away from the crowds, before returning to the park for the evening festivities. I agree with all the suggestions that were given... especially the Blue Bayou for a great lunch or dinner option (the portions are very generous!) and the picnic option for World of Color too!

If it helps, I told DF we were doing a gift exchange (kind of like a Secret Santa but it's not secret) and that we would get different gifts every day. I didn't mention that most of the gifts would be disney themed. To be honest, some of my gifts are Disney-themed and some aren't. With DF, I tend to just make/buy something and then say "isn't this cute?" and he usually goes along with it.

I am making tie-dye Mickey shirts and when I showed DF, much to my surprise he said he would wear one. You just never know!

My hubby is also not a Disney fanatic, but will typically go along with anything I want to do, with only minimal eyerolling. He is rather confused by the whole "fish extender" name and keeps calling it "that fish face gift thing"

This is our 1st disney cruise, 1st alltogether for the kids, and disboards.com has been a true blessing (and a curse for all the time I spend on it) Just wondering about the final details on the FE, do I get peoples names. I was hoping to do something custom.

Thanks so much - work has been difficult lately so appreciate you taking it from here.

I bought a whole bunch of bubbles. Once I figure out where we will be for the sail-away, I will post in case anyone wants to come over to grab some. I'd drop them in the FE but sometimes we can't get to our rooms until after sailaway right??
