I’ll post some pictures later or tomorrow.can you post a video or pictures?
Cannot find any of the refurb at ccv yet.
Say it isnt so... is CCV getting a half done refurb like VGC?Just checked into a refurbished shower studio on the 7th floor 7119. There is no Murphy bed. The extent of the refurbishment in this room looks to be a new sofa bed, new chairs for the table, new rug, new picture behind sofa bed, new cushion on the bench and a new Keurig machine filters or K-cup. I don’t notice any changes to the bathroom/sink or kitchen area.
Don’t want to rain on everyone’s Murphy bed parade, maybe it’s just this room.
The 4th, 5th and 6th floor are currently closed for refurbishment.
VGC was a full refurb hence everyone’s disappointment. CCV is just a refresh so this checks out.Say it isnt so... is CCV getting a half done refurb like VGC?![]()
Is the room slanted at all because of the roof? I think that’s why BRV didn’t get Murphy beds on the top floor.Just checked into a refurbished shower studio on the 7th floor 7119. ahh okay. Whew! Although I am CCV owner and it was my 1st DVC contract I admittedly haven't followed everything closely with the resort.VGC was a full refurb hence everyone’s disappointment. CCV is just a refresh so this checks out.
So i wonder if the 7th floor of ccv will get new sofa beds and 1-6 get murphy? Is the room slanted at all because of the roof? I think that’s why BRV didn’t get Murphy beds on the top floor.
Can't wait to see your photos! How is the exterior construction? Is it intrusive?I’ll post some pictures later or tomorrow.
I've never stayed on the 7th floor but if any rooms on that floor have the angled ceiling like BRV does on it's top floor they may have decided on the same furnishing treatment and are just doing sofa beds for that entire floor. Murphy beds on the lower floors. It makes it easier both on furnishing and for the room assignor. A bit annoying though since the murphy beds are more comfortable.Just checked into a refurbished shower studio on the 7th floor 7119. There is no Murphy bed. I noticed new curtains, trash/recycle can and outlet after my first post. The new outlets are at the nightstands/table/dresser and have usb and usb-c
The 7th floor has the standard flat ceiling as the other studios. Is the room slanted at all because of the roof? I think that’s why BRV didn’t get Murphy beds on the top floor.
There is a significant scaffolding structure on the cash side around Roaring Fork and the RF outdoor patio area is closed. Can't wait to see your photos! How is the exterior construction? Is it intrusive?
It may just be this room for whatever reason, I’m sure we’ll learn more as more guest stay in other refurbed rooms. This is really disappointing. Was hoping for Murphy beds![]()
Wow, for just a refresh I think it looks fantastic. Love the colorful additions, the artsy brother bear art and that they kept the little dining table. I know that’s something people constantly complained about when they were taken away in the other resort refurbishments so it’s seems they really are listening to feedback. Makes me a bit more hopeful for the eventual AKV refurb.
Per this post a few pages back in this thread, it does appear that some of the rooms received a Murphy bed. Like a few other posters already suggested, I'm thinking they may be handling this similar to Boulder Ridge, where all rooms on the top floor have sofa beds. But then I'm pretty sure I read in here that there are several rooms on the 6th floor that also have that high ceiling, so would that mean the entire 6th floor would have sofa beds also?Wow, for just a refresh I think it looks fantastic. I’m also hoping there’s a specific reason why they didn’t add the Murphy bed to that room but most/all others will have them. I thought in one of the Disney Files they said they were going to add them to the Copper Creek rooms, no? But maybe that was for BRV, I can’t remember exactly now. Though now that I right this out, I do remember there were questions if it would be possible to put Murphy beds in the CCV rooms given the strange bulkhead area on the wall the beds sit against. Maybe those people were right and they don’t fit :/
lol I actually liked that post with the picture of the Murphy bed and promptly forgotPer this post a few pages back in this thread, it does appear that some of the rooms received a Murphy bed. I believe bunk beds have been phased out due to safety risks at most hotels and resorts (not just Disney). I don’t think they are coming back.I’d love it if they put bunk beds in some of the rooms. That would also create more space.
