Less than 6 weeks!!!

I've been busy today gathering bits and fluff up and putting it all together, driving myself crazy asking myself what the heck I did with the other stuff from our last cruise. I always put stuff away so well I never find it again!

I'll find it, I'm sure, but it sure does drive me a bit crazy!

hope everyone had a great weekend, it's back to work tomorrow, but at least it helps the time to pass!!!

That's the complete opposite of our house. We live in what I like to call "scrumbles" which means that everything is all over the place all the time and everywhere. I'm the throw it all away one and my wife is the saver and the kids are both borderline hoarders.

Va-Nanna Tink - too funny, "looking for little bits of fluff" is the story of my life!!! I t takes me forever to remember where I put things "away". I still need to find my over the door shoe holders and other misc items. You made me feel better.

Today was a beautiful day - so nice to sit outside and watch football and soccer. Too bad nothing got done in my house.

Made spaghetti sauce and meatballs in the crock pot today. It was nice to come home to dinner after sports. Now if I could only plan ahead like that a few more days a week.

NanaTink - you are so funny!!! THIS is totally me. I have been running around like a crazy women looking for all the things. FINALLY found the pirate stuff that I had packed away! Now, to find the rest of the items.

I found my magnets, (and the candy from the last cruise as well) but haven't found the pirate stuff nor my tiara (for dinner, don'tcha know?)

Well, I DID get my desk cleaned off and stuff sorted. The amount of paper I shredded....I need to stop 'saving' it, I never need it again...but welll..... you never know!

Ok - happy to say got DD formal dress at Burlington Coat factory Friday and a coordinating tie for DS. At least it is 2 things I can cross of my list of a hundred things to do pre-cruise!

Sounds like everyone had busy weekends as always - just think how much we will all appreciate relaxing on the ship!

That's what I need to add to my list of things to get...dress shirt and tie for DS (that coordinates with DDs dress). My dress is black, so that is easy.

It's Monday. Blech. Just got my last magnet design from the boards, so I can print those (at work of course) soon. I didn't get anything accomplished yesterday either.

Oh Monday Morning! Why do you come so fast?

Dh & I had a FABULOUS weekend! Felt like 12 yrs ago when we first started dating

Looking forward to this week of beautiful fall weather! Have a ton of stuff going on with kids soccer, ballet, girl scouts and PTO and we are also going to try to hit the park after school today or Thursday!

We are going to try to start packing and getting things into our duffles this weekend! Also have to get our send ahead box totally filled so it can be sent out the 1st week of November.

Ahhhh...I can already hear the sound of the open waters!

Looking forward to meeting all of you that 1st day!...3:00 on the promenade sound great!

Morning everyone! Just a quick pop in from me to say THANKS DARCY for the updated FE list Crazy/busy weekend for me and I know the next few weeks are going to fly by - our schedule is hectic from hereon out. I wanted to get all my FE stuff done by now, but I still have a small few things to do....hopefully by the end of this week.

Promenade lounge works for us for a quick meet up....just need to find it!

Slowly coming out of the dark ages on this board. I have been online boards for years, and this one just stumps me. I think I will have many more question, like how do I get to this board w/o clicking on 10 different links to get here the "hard" way???

Anyone know of anyone who purchased the hawaiian shirts from the Disney store this year and might have either an extra one, or one that I could borrow? I am looking for a child's size Medium or Large. DS is sold out and I can't locate one on ebay after 2 months of daily searches, I have turned up zip. ugh!

I see where DCL announced the 2012 stuff...only through August though...I was really hoping to find out whether or not they were going to do another Southern Caribbean...I really want to do that...or if the Magic was doing Europe or the Med next year..but nothing

I was hoping for more info as well....I'd love it if the Magic moves to sail out of NY! They didn't say what the Magic will be doing after April at all. And, I'm glad we are doing the Western now, and not on Fantasy as they are changing the Key West port to Costa Maya instead. Key West is the port I'm most excited to visit, quite honestly!

I think you started typing before the end quote of my original email somehow.

As for how to get to the boards easier...maybe this will help. If you want to be able to find this thread (or any other) easily, when you are reading a thread, near the top is a dropdown called THREAD TOOLS. Then you click on SUBSCRIBE TO THIS THREAD.

You can choose to get emails when there are updates if you want.

When I log in, I go to www.disboards.com and then under "Quick Links" (dropdown under your sign in name), there is an option for "Subscribed Threads". You will see all the threads that you have subscribed to listed there. If there are new posts since the last time you visited, the thread title will be bolded. Then you click on the shaded v before the title name and it will bring you to the first new post.

Hope that helps! I subscribe to the threads that I check most often (this one in particular) so I can get there very quickly.

the magic is going to europe this summer, I suspect she will stay there b/c the dream is doing the short cruises and the fantasy willt ake over the 7 day iteneraries while the wonder is in cali and alaska.

Well, I finally did it! Read all 76 pages, done!

I feel like I have been on a whirl wind this past week. Finally have things figured out. We are flying in on the 25th, two nights at AKL. Not 100% sure what we are going to do (probably DHS for Osborne Lights). So flights done, resort done, cruise done, have to decide on whether we are going to do transfers or rent a car.

Then the BIGGIE, excursions....we are doing the Aquaboat and Snorkel in GC, but can't decide for Cozumel. I really wanted to do the Mexican Cooking Class but it is showing as not available. HELP!!! We don't want to take the ferry so it has to be something right in Cozumel. HELP again, can't decide!

Oh, yes! I loved Key West the last time and can't wait to explore it some more! I wonder if the Fantasy is too large to get into Key West? The draft could be too deep. Didn't the Magic used to alternate between Costa Maya and Cozumel years ago?

That's the rumor, but there is nothing showing after March for the Magic. It's like the Magic disappears. What would the cruises be? I've heard Med, I've heard Eastern Med with different ports. I've heard it will stay in the Med and I've heard it will winter in Florida. And some ports are showing the Magic back in circulation in the Caribbean after August. Supposedly both the Magic and the Fantasy were porting into the same port on Christmas Eve (I don't recall which port). Seems silly to me but rumors are flying all over the place....

oh! We have the Mexican cooking class...hope it's showing as not available because it's full and not because they canceled it. Check again once you are onboard...sometimes people cancel out excursions...

We are apparently right across the ship from you in the corresponding Port side stateroom! It's our favorite stateroom, handy to the Aft elevators but in a quiet area of the ship!

Thank goodness you are across the hall from us and not next door;it might not be so quiet. We are celebrating our honeymoon after all, so I am sure we will stay up late-- talking lol. That means he will be napping even more.

I don't pack any handbags for the cruise - no need! All I need is my KTTW card and my camera. However, I will also be packing black and coordinating colors with it so I have limited shoes. I have one pair of fancy shoes for formal night (not too high, but glittery and were only $8 - woo hoo!) but also have sparkly flip flops that may outrank the heels for the night time. In any event, it will be those 2 pair, plus daytime flops and a pair of sneakers for walking around Key West.
