Beautiful weather here again today...it's fall in Texas, and that doesn't happen every year!

I got some organizing of my FE gifts done yesterday, ordered some more of things that I was going to be short of, and added some extra stuff...may as well Still waiting on final, final numbers before I can order my very last thing and then I'll be ready to work on some of it next weekend!

We head to WDW in 7 weeks from yesterday Which means 8 weeks today we'll be in Key West

Oh don't worry - I'm already searching for some trips. We'd have to use the credit by 10/3/2011....unfortunately, JB doesn't fly to a lot of places from here in Hartford, but who knows if they will add more destinations (they don't start flying out of here until mid-November). Maybe I can rent DVC points from my BFF and we can do a long weekend to WDW next fall...I can dream and plan!

I just checked my flights on JetBlue and they have gone down in price, so I called and now have $200 towards another flight within the next year to use...

Wish I had gotten it back in real cash, but maybe I'll be booking another trip somewhere and fly for free! Our fares went down $50 person...

I'm getting things set for our FE gifts too, things are working out like I hoped, so I'm happy about that too!
Now if I could just fast-forward the clock.....and make it time to go!

Was curious to see if my flights had also gone down in price since we are also flying Jet Blue out of Hartford and ours actually went up $75 per ticket....wow!

Anywho...good for you on getting that $ toeard a future flight. I'm sure you could find a way to use it!

It seems like there are still quite a few cabins available on our cruise. I am still a GTY status, so hopefully we will get our room number soon.

I am not sure if I can pass up a last minitue upgrade at the port if there is one available though...

So glad we moved up the FE deadline - I need to get on the ball! Have started giving thoughts to formal night - ugh - I have nothing! Will probably buy the kids some "Christmas" clothes and DH has a suit. Me on the other hand ????? Oh well, glad it is getting cooler - can start filling the suitcases : )

Darcy - Congratulations on the Jet Blue $$$$ That's a nice surprise!! I didn't know they did that. Do any other airlines offer the same perk???

It was a great day - our DVC waitlists came through and we got our nights at WDW before the trip. We have been wait listed since June for a 2 BR villa with DVC. I was starting to get worried!!

Anyone else watching Dancing with the Stars??

Wow ... was away for 3 days and miss 3 pages of postings! Just got back from a long weekend at the Lake I had organized for 5 families from DS's preschool. All I can say is it was SBF *Stressful but fun* Hopefully, the pretty waterviews will tide me over 'til November.

Unfortunately, DH & I've gained more weight than we care to admit, so DH and I now have a serious weight loss/exercise competition for the next 7 weeks. Wish me luck!

New luggage has been found! Bought a 4-piece American Tourister set for $89. I'm happy now! (Think I could have done better, but I just did not want to wait any longer!)

Nice credit with JetBlue. I believe Southwest does the same thing if their fares drop.

Sounds like it was a good weekend for everyone here. We went to Joe's Crab Shack at Jax Beach yesterday. Beautiful day for sitting on the deck and just listening to and watching the ocean. I'm so ready to cruise!!!

We are supposed to leave Key West at 7:30 and sunset is closer to 5:30 so you should be good to watch it almost anywhere.

Greetings all. We're getting close, now aren't we. As I look at my work and family calendars for the next 7 weeks, I see lots of spaces filled in which will definitely make time fly. I even get a trip to Fort Lauderdale just a couple weeks before the cruise to visit a new client - thus I'll get a glimpse at the ocean to get me ready for this sailing! As we nearly canceled our plans for this cruise, I can't imagine if we had done it. I suspect I'd be frantically searching for a trip of some kind to take in either early or late November.

Finally finished my trip report from our Med sailing this summer.

It's a rainy, dreary cold Tuesday here. Good for getting a lot of work done, I hope. Have a great day.

Welcome!! This is our first cruise, so don't have any comparison to other cruise lines, but I figured how bad can it be to be waited on hand and foot and be in the caribbean?

I finally got to watch last night (one of the perks of DH being gone!) Jennifer "whatshername" from Dirty Dancing is great and I thought the two sports guys (forgetting their names too - I am so NOT a good celebrity watcher ) were pretty good considering they are both big guys.

Finally finished my trip report from our Med sailing this summer.

I read the last of your trip report last night We have been considering this for next year, and maybe having my Mum join us from the UK over there, but having read some of your excursion reviews, it has me reconsidering as I don't think Mum is up to it (at the age of 83), so thanks for that.

I have to express a mild jealousy at your MANY trips but what a wonderful way to build memories with the family.


I got the last of my FE stuff ordered yesterday. I decided to order extras and just do something with the left overs (if there are any). This weekend is my big "FE Extravaganza" weekend I'm determined to get them almost completed while DH is gone

It's cold and drizzly here again in CT so I cannot wait for the warm breezes of the Caribbean!

This weekend I'm hoping to start packing clothes as I switch over to fall clothes for me and the kids. Also planning to put in my order for my FE gifts.
I still haven't heard from RachelAtt, so our # of cabins will probably decrease by 1 from my last update.

My other goal for this weekend is to post my list of Pampered Chef products onto Craigslist. I sold PC for about 3 1/2 years and have my own warehouse in my basement of products. Hoping to make some $$ on them to use for the cruise (or that other trip I will be planning to use my JetBlue credit).

For now, back to work!

Welcome, Michael! WE are 'repeat customers, and we have only cruised with Disney, believing that Disney has spoiled us for anyone else....
This, after DH, (USN/ret) told me he never wanted to cruise as that is what he did for 22 years. I finally convinced him to take a 4 day cruise and promised never to mention cruising again if he didn't like it. We walked off the Wonder with our next cruise booked! Who would have thought cruising on a CRUISE ship would be so different than being on a naval vessel.

I have all my supplies as well for the FE, hope to get a good start this weekend since it's a 3-day weekend...only thing going on is DGS's baptism.

I don't know why, but that thought hadn't crossed my (obviously tiny ) mind!! Wow - that's REALLY exciting!!

DARCY - Hopefully if RacheltAtt wants to participate she will get a PM before the end of the day tomorrow. I just went back and checked previous posts from her and this is their honeymoon cruise, so maybe she just decided it was all too much - which, who could blame her!!

Welcome MichaelG - I just joined in here a couple weeks ago, but I am a repeat DCL cruiser. This will be our second cruise with DCL and trust me when I say you won't be disappointed.

I am still looking for 1-3 people to join my group at Palos for brunch on day 6 (at sea day). Please PM me as soon as possible as I have to get the list finalized.

Gosh, can't wait for the cruise - it is getting so close and I am giddy with excitement. I am certain most of us are!
