Just in case anyone is doing specific items for their FE gifts and is on the move to do it now (God bless you since we haven't started yet!). wanted to let you know that my oldest is 12 (not 10 as listed on the list). I think I may have told Darcy she was 10 when I sent it because she was 11, going on 12 (her birthday was last week) but for some reason that "she's 10" still comes out once in a while. She'd be horrified if anyone on the cruise thought she was 10!

If Ihad not just recently deleted all the PMs, I could have told you if it was you or a typo on my part. I was thinking that she would be mortified if people thought she was 10 and she is 12. Feel free to blame it all on me.

Everyone else should have gotten their preliminary list yesterday. I am happy to help plan this - we had a blast with it last year, and I'm kind of a table/formatting geek & freak, so I love a good excuse for an organized document.

Hi All!

It's Friday morning and we have torrential rain here in CT! Our yard is all flooded and now we have some leaking in our finished basement due the severe flooding! I am dreading going out into this weather again today, especially with 2 little ones that "need" their raincoats, rainboots & umbrellas!

I just keeping reminding myself of the sunshine I will see and the fun we will have in less than 2 months!

Hang in there Rachael! It's monsonning here as well (just a bit south of you) but I am looking forward to the cool weather that it will bring.

It's so humid here right now it's gross. I can't keep the windows open because the huge winds are blowing the rain into the house. Wondering how long this will really last....I work at home on Wed & Fri and usually I head to the grocery store on Friday. Not going in this weather!!!

Just think that we will have a beautiful weekend and in less than 2 months we will be on the Magic and that's the best thought there is!

Yes, that is where we are staying as well. never been, but I have heard that it is a nice place. I do not thnk that i will be getting much sleep that night...

My entire group is at the Radisson at the Port the night before too. There are 17 people in our group now. Originally we were 22, but had two families that had to cancel for various reasons. But the ones that cancelled are already planning on moving their dates to same week in 2012.

We all can't wait.

Darcy, I just want to add my thanks as well for all your efforts in getting the FE organized! You have done an awesome job, and the email you sent yesterday is invaluable!

We are going to Disneyland in April as a surprise for the kids for Christmas. We're staying at the Grand Californian. I'd love to hear what it's like!

May be getting a chance in Feb to stop off for a couple of days as we have a wedding in Maui to attend, and we change planes at LAX

I agree Gailyn. We stayed at the Grand Californian when we went on the MR cruise 2 years ago. Love that you just walk into the parks from the back door and to downtown disney. It's a completely different experience than WDW but really really cool. The hotel is beautiful, the pool is amazing, the rooms are just a big tight on space but this was before DVC came there... so those rooms may be a bit more roomy.

I hope those up on the East coast are surviving the weather, it sounds pretty nasty up there!

Looking foward to closing out the FE list next week so I can get busy. DH is going to be gone for a couple of weeks, so it will be perfect timing.

STEPHANIE - I hope you are having a wonderful time!!

I am hoping to get to Disneyland sometime next year (fingers crossed). It's been well over 20 years since I've been and of course all the DCA stuff wasn't there.

We are a bit wet here, but nothing big happened (at last where we live). Just lots of rain today. We had some heavy winds last night, but again, nothing major happened and we never lost power.

DS's flag football game was cancelled tonight though, so I think we are heading to the movies.

I am looking forward to the cutoff for the FE so I can start working on that as well. I have a plan, but the numbers keep changing so much I need to wait.

Speaking of that...

I"m so glad that you enjoyed the Grand Californian and DL. We have never been. We're doing the MR cruise over spring break and will surprise the kids for Christmas.

I'm going to LA for work in two weeks and I hope to drive down to Long Beach to see the port. I also want to see the hotel we're staying in the night before the cruise.

Sorry you're having so much rain in CT. We have cool and clear weather. Very fall like. We've been sitting out at the fire pit drinking wine while the kids play. A nice evening.

The rain has ended here in CT and fall has arrived. It's 55 outside and I am going to have to start pulling out the fall clothes! We are heading out to go apple picking this morning and then to DD's softball game this afternoon.

Fall clothes means I can start packing our summer clothes for the cruise!!!

I know DS will still be wearing shorts to school (until I wrestle him into pants), but at least my stuff can get packed.

It's 55 here as well, and the sun is shining brightly! We had the fireplace going this morning as I'm not QUITE ready to turn on the furnace!
I'm ready to sit down and commit my BASS to paper instead of pixels. I have to get more info from my DDILs for the WDW portion of the trip, but I think it's time to start packing stuff too!

71 out this morning! It's been sooooo hot here in Jacksonville since March and I am so ready for cooler temps!

Made a trip to A.C. Moore to pick up some white tees for us. T-shirts are buy one get one free through today. Now, I just need to find some inexpensive iron-on transfer paper. I do have a 50% off coupon for A.C. and may head back over there for it when I do grocery shopping later in the day.

Soccer and football practice was wet and windy. Not a good day. Lots of muddy laundry

Darcy - too funny that you mentioned packing. I was just thinking about that today. I packed up 3 bags of clothes for Easter Seals and now I need to start packing summer stuff in luggage!!!!! I"m so excited

I just checked my flights on JetBlue and they have gone down in price, so I called and now have $200 towards another flight within the next year to use...

Wish I had gotten it back in real cash, but maybe I'll be booking another trip somewhere and fly for free! Our fares went down $50 person...

Cash would have been nice, but maybe this will get you a "surprise" trip somewhere.

Beautiful weather here again today...it's fall in Texas, and that doesn't happen every year!

I got some organizing of my FE gifts done yesterday, ordered some more of things that I was going to be short of, and added some extra stuff...may as well Still waiting on final, final numbers before I can order my very last thing and then I'll be ready to work on some of it next weekend!

We head to WDW in 7 weeks from yesterday Which means 8 weeks today we'll be in Key West
