Oh, that would be so great! Yes, please keep us informed! My cousin's daughter was a Make a Wish kid at WDW....they had such an awesome time! I would love to help spread a little cheer for another child!

Quick question - has anybody been on a completely full DCL Magic Cruise? If so, what's it like? Do we have to fight for pools, buffet lines, etc.? What about the kids' clubs? Is it mayhem/noisy 24X7?

Our Med cruise was sold out and it didn't really seem more crowded than other cruises. There were more "older" kids on this sailing - teen and above so there was more running about by that group but it wasn't bothersome at all.

In the middle of DDs 12th birthday swim and sleepover party with 9 of her closest friends. Pre-teen drama and noise. Currently hiding in the master bedroom with a bottle of wine, laptop and TV.

Jeff - Your post had me laughing . We had a house full of pre-teens tonight. Lots of giggling and drama. DH and I should have thought of going into hiding!! We just resorted to wine drinking.

Tonya- We would also like to know if there is a Make a Wish child on our cruise. It would be nice to spread a little pixie dust!

DD had a few friends sleep over a couple years ago for her party and I thought I would need some wine....nope, it was DS's party at Nomad's (a big arcade/laser tag/mini golf/rock climbing place) and then pizza with HIS friends that made me hit the bottle!

DS's b-day party at the zoo went off without a hitch today! Yea! Didn't even need the bottle of wine. Couldn't have asked for better weather!! Hope you all are enjoying the weekend. Gotta get some afternoon shut-eye before going to a 50's gala tonight.

Hard to believe it's September 25 when it's 90 degrees and HUMID here in Connecticut.

No shade at DS's flag football game followed by no shade at DD's softball game.

Now, time to shower and do laundry for DD's softball game tomorrow before I take DS to a birthday party. Looking forward to the cruise where I can RELAX!

Hard to believe it's September 25 when it's 90 degrees and HUMID here in Connecticut.

I know, I couldn't believe how hot it was here! At least today is a bit cooler...I think it will only reach a high of 70 today! My favorite weather is when it is in the low 60's during the day...looks like a couple more weeks until we get to that!

Tomorrow we hit the two month mark! I'm so excited and Sulley keeps playing the horn!!! (we have it as a ringtone on our phone and on both of our computers)

I'm ready to go! I've spent the morning reading TRs from other cruises...what a GREAT way to spend a rainy Sunday!!

I know, I couldn't believe how hot it was here! At least today is a bit cooler...I think it will only reach a high of 70 today! My favorite weather is when it is in the low 60's during the day...looks like a couple more weeks until we get to that!

We are heading towards your neck of the woods today, DD has a softball game in Burlington.

Started the day with a 10 mile bike ride with DS...that got me over the 200 mile mark since we started biking in mid-summer!

VA Nana-Tink..sorry to hear it's rainy for you today, but sounds like you have great plans for spending the day with TRs! It will be beautiful here today, low 70s and sunny....much nicer than yesterday that's for sure. I think we are getting the rain during the week which, to me, is much better than the weekends! I won't be upset if we have some cancelled practices this week.

The rain is fine today, it was going to be a quiet day at home for us anyway and now the sun is peeking out.

Ordered my FE from Stitches N' Bows! Hope she has time to make it! Need to get DH working on the one part of the FE gifts I need help on....and we need to start printing out our magnets, thank you cards and our Mousekeeping envelopes for the WDW part of the trip. Need to get all the Passporter pockets set up for the trip, and get busy with the kids deciding on the order for Garden Grocer.
Wow...there really is a lot left to do, I better get busy!!!

Hi Everyone!!! We are 8 weeks and 6 days away from our cruise! (Is anyone else counting down as insanely as I am?) After nine weekend getaway cruises on various lines (DCL included), I am finally taking a weeklong cruise! It's hitting me big time this weekend, and I so cannot wait! What is everyone doing to gear up for the cruise? I'm still working on FE goodies. And picking up scrapbook items (I really should start working on those pages, ya know!).

Bought a picture frame with side by side pics @ Wal-Mart: 1 side for family pic on DCL and the other w/ Disney Character autographs.

Also ordered the over the door shoe organizer from Amazon for dirt cheap.

In short, am piece-mailing our packing list. This is the only way I can keep myself from going insane thinking how long these 2 months will be!

Good Morning All:

No news yet on the Make a Wish Child for our cruise, but I am keeping my ear to the ground for information.

Good news on the travel front for us. We are flying in Airtran (first time ever) and they are in the works of merging with Southwest. Maybe our bags can fly for free this year. That would certainly make my packing list work out a lot easier. Keep your fingers crossed.

This weekend was beautiful, we had temps in the 50 and 60. I had to put long pants and long sleeves on. That is certainly not a complaint as that means that the cruise is inching closer and closer.

Good news on the travel front for us. We are flying in Airtran (first time ever) and they are in the works of merging with Southwest. Maybe our bags can fly for free this year. That would certainly make my packing list work out a lot easier. Keep your fingers crossed.

Fingers crossed for you! We are flying Jet Blue since they now fly out of Bradley (International Airport in CT) and they allow 1st bags FREE! I LOVE IT!!! I am soooo sick of paying for bags! We fly quite often and those fees add up!

Anywho...I have ordered my dress & shoes for Formal night, so now all of our Formal attire is complete! Just have to finish getting my FE gift packages together, finish my packing lists, start packing up my "send ahead" box, purchase last minute travel items & get our door magnets put together!

OH GOSH YES. A group of us even went to far as to wear Tiaras. I had a little girl in the elevator say "Are you a princess too" to which I replied "Only for tonight".

Why not go all out? I know that we hardly ever have a reason to really dress up anymore so we go formal with tiara and tux. DH has a mickey mouse bow tie and vest and I do my best to match it. Its a pain to pack and wear but its SO MUCH FUN to get dressed up and go to dinner.
