Magic This makes me nuts. :earseek: They would not let me book LeCellier because they said I couldn't get a reservation for two. I wish I could have taken one of yours. :flower: Does it seem like they have had a lot of problems this year with bookings for the CP? Or is it just me?

I got a reservation for 2 at Le Cellier. Try again; good luck!

I had a message from Disney Dining on my answering machine when I got home from work yesterday. They wanted me to call asap because there was some confusion with my ADR for CP. :confused3 I called and she said that they had a duplicate ressie for me. I thought maybe they meant the ressie I had made for three people and then canceled and made one for two. They said no, they didn't even show a ressie anywhere for three people, but they had two ressie's in their system for the same date (12/7), same time (6:45 CP, 8:00 Le Cellier) for two people under my name. I told them I only needed one ressie and as long as the date/times stayed the same I was happy. :teeth: So, she canceled one and said my cc would be credited. Make sure you check your cc statements to make sure you only got charged for what you booked!

Hmmm... this is really strange. I got a call from CRO this afternoon saying that they had two reservations for us also. Both for the 6:45 CP on 12/24, but dinner at two different restaurants. One for 4:30 at Coral Reef and one for 8:00 at Le Cellier. We had tried to get LeCellier, but I didn't like the times they had available, so we booked Coral Reef. I told them to keep the Le Cellier, and cancel the Coral Reef. I'm wondering though, if multiple people are getting calls about multiple reservations, does that mean that the system was just acting up one day or that a bunch of people are going to show up and find out that they don't really have a reservation because others were double booked and cancelled one ?

I was coming to see if there was any news about Gary Sinise reconsidering or a replacement. Probably won't hear anything for a while I'm guessing. Bummer - but I'm ready to go now. We are booked for the 5pm show on 12/24. I so can't wait!

I too had a call fromDisney Dining this week. I only made one reservation. When I called back the CM I talked to said there was nothing wrong with my reservation and did not know why I had received a call. I checked my cc and it was only billed once. Too strange

I have a CP dinner package booked for a CP performance by Eartha Kitt, but I'm thinking of cancelling it. I really want to dine at Le Cellier, but was told it was full for both the 11th & 12th of December. When I asked about seeing a later performance, the only dinner times that came up were at either the Rose & Crown or GG were at 4pm for a 6:45pm show. There was nothing available after the 6:45pm performance. She did have dining available after the 6:45pm show at Al Fredo's in Italy, but I've read alot of negative things about that restaurant. My current ressie is the 5pm show with dinner at 6:30pm at the Garden Grill, but I'm starting to have serious second thoughts.

Anyone want to speculate on who might replace Gary Sinise??? I think it might be Wayne Brady. Just a thought, I know he has done it in the past and he seems to do a lot with Disney. Who does everyone else think the replacement might be????

Wayne Brady would be great! Love him!! We are booked for the 22nd, dh was bummed when Gary cancelled. I have always wanted to see LeVar Burton as he is the only one on the list that my kids would even know who he is (from Reading Rainbow re-runs!) Also, they know Haley Joel Osment from Second Hand Lions, but he is coming too early for our trip this year. I hadn't thought of Mr. Brady, but I am sure we will enjoy it no matter who it is! We saw Brian Dennehy in 1999 and it was great, the music, singing, candles, ect.... AWESOME!!!!

We are already eating at LeCellier one night. Would Biergarten be a good choice with kids for our CP Package? Where would you suggest? We are looking at Sun, Dec 5. That only has the 5pm show, correct? What time should I try to get an ADR? Would we make a 6:30pm ADR? Oh, and we are on the Dining Plan.

Thanks!

Sunday is December 4th and the 5pm show is not available.

Boy, I"m all confused :rotfl: Ok, so on Sunday, the 4th they have the other 2 shows? So, where would you suggest to eat?

The Beirgarten is buffet so that may be hard for you to juggle so many plates and maneuver thru the people and back to the table. At least it would be for me. How about Coral Reef?

I was just taking a look at my credit card statement when I saw a refund by Disney for the amount that I prepaid for my CP dinner package when these first came out. I prepaid because it was like a week later that Disney announced that this would be included on the meal plan. I had called when I found out about this and was told that they could rebook the package holding it with my credit card or wait until I got there and when I went to pick up the information, they could credit it at that time. I said I would wait and call back, as I was on a cell phone and did not want to give that information out over the phone. I made sure that nothing was touched with the original reservations and she said no. I had no problem waiting. So when I saw the credit on my statement I called Dining immediately, fearing that they had cancelled the original reservations. I got a nice CM on the phone and explained what had happened. He looked everything up and said that yes Disney refunded the amount I prepaid, but that nothing was changed or cancelled on the reservation. My understanding was that they need a cc to hold these reservations and the original CM I spoke with said that they do not keep this information in their system. How could they have refunded my money, but kept the reservations without me giving my cc information again? Should I call back to make sure? I had called right at 6:58am and had gotten the day, show time, restaurant and dining time that I wanted and I'm really, really nervous that something got cancelled.

Board Walk Tigger and Sazzo'sMommy,

I'm with both of you. I was really disappointed that Gary Sinise cancelled. :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

What should I do about Disney refunding my pre-paid amount without telling me first? Should I be concerned that this got cancelled?
