Help, sure these questions have been asked before:

Do any of the "bleacher seats" have backs on them?
Hi, keshashadow. The aluminum, beacher type seats have backs similar to the seats. Two pieces. One for the seat, one for the back. No reserved numbers. "Preferred seating" for CP package purchasers.

When/where is the tree lighting?
The Epcot Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony show is held at 6:00 P.M. and after the about 20 minute show, they light the Christmas Tree and the Lights of Wonder arch. The Epcot Christmas Tree is located at the main entrance to the World Showcase as you leave Future World.

Can I assume that all shows will allow me to see Illuminations?
The first show is at 5:00 P.M., and lasts for about 40 minutes. The Illuminations fireworks starts at 9:30 P.M., so you will have three hours and 50 minutes to do other things before Illuminations start.
The second show is at 6:45 P.M., so you will have about two hours and five minutes to find a space around the lake to watch Illuminations.
The third show is at 8:15 P.M., so you will have about 35 minutes to find a spot to watch Illuminations.

Need to depart from International Gateway, any suggestions as to a "good spot" to watch Illuminations with a a decent view; then afford us a quick exit?
Depending on what time that you get to save a spot, the bridge that crosses from the England pavilion is a great spot to watch Illuminations. Underneath this bridge is where the Illumination Cruises park their pontoon boats to watch Illuminations.
If you have the time, and can save a spot, the attached cafe-type table seating area located to the left of the Rose and Crown Pub is a very relaxing place to watch the Illuminations. Most of the tables are for two. Some people pull chairs and tables together. Depending on the crowds, the Rose and Crown serve dinner out there which would preclude you from using select tables. I like the tables next to the stone wall, and not directly under a overhanging tree branch.
There are several other places a little further away, but the bridge is located right next to the path to the International Gateway for a quick exit.
If you are wondering about how early to get to these spots, then try to think how early would you try to save a spot on Magic Kingdom's Main Street to watch the Spectromagic parade.

If I want to eat @ Le Cellier, which show/dinner seating will allow me to see the tree lighting (hopefully, without any running involved)?
Sorry for the number of questions but, I'm getting more confused by the minute. Thanks.
This is a million dollar question, isn't it?
The Epcot Christmas Tree Ceremony is at 6:00 P.M..
I would dine at at 4:00 P.M.. I don't think that I could dine at 6:45 P.M. which might take at minimum of an hour. That would leave about 30 minutes to walk past Canada, past England, over the bridges, past France, past Morocco, past Japan, and finally to the American pavilion to get to the 8:15 P.M. last CP show.
If I were not doing the CP package, I would not worry so much about the time.
Sincerely, Ray
