Yes I would because I would want someone to tell me. If you're warned you're about to be fired, it doesn't come as quite a suprise and you're "ready" for it. Plus, I wouldn't want to bust my a** if I wan't staying.

The last 2 games have been like a dream-come-true for a Giants fan.

I think I threw all the pictures out years ago when I moved, thank god!!

I've loved the 2 games, but everyone keeps saying oh it's over, they've got this, and I just keep thinking about the '02 series and how they lost it. I'll celebrate when the last out of the 4th win happens. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

Love, love, love Christmas Story!!! One of my favorite movies of all time. My sister and I randomly quote scenes from the movie all the time.

HUGE QUESTION!!!! Found a $400 flight to Texas on Sunday... do I go to Game 4 of the Series. I can get a ticket for $350. I want to go, but I don't know. I didn't think I could get a flight that cheap... Ahhhh!!!!!!!!!!

The last 2 games have been like a dream-come-true for a Giants fan.


I was one of those people who made an appointment at the DMV for my behind-the-wheel test as soon as I turned 16. I had a really cranky exam person though, who nit-picked their way through my test and I didn't pass by 1 point, I didn't even do anything majorly wrong! It was stupid things like "turn signal turned on too early" and stuff like that. Can you tell I'm still bitter? I took the test the required minimum of time later, I think it was 2 weeks ... and passed with a near perfect score (different exam person).

TNP: TGIF plans?

yes they sure have!! I'm not a Giants fan per se but I'm hoping they win it! We are A's fans, but when the A's are done you move to the Giants lol

No TGIF plans, quiet night in, maybe watch a movie or two, have some wine. I still haven't figured out dinner I just realized we haven't watched our Garfield Halloween special yet.....obviously we will be watching that!

Pwings, I totally forgot about Office Space, I love that movie. I need to put "Show her my 'O' face" in the quotes thread. I picked Pink Panther becaus of the scean where Dec. Clousou is trying to say "Hamburger", I saw this in the threaters and was rolling in the isles.

We are gonna finish carving our pumpkins and watch some Halloween movies with some popcorn. Hopefully we can talk DS (2) into watching something other than NBC, we've been watching that one 3-4 times a day for the past two weeks.

ROFL!!! Show her my O face....cracks me up every time. I love that scene in PP too, sometimes when we have hamburgers for dinner we say it that and we all start laughing

I do both but mostly scary. I get sad when the little kids don't want to approach the door, but I don't blame them since we've got a demon that we put on the porch. hehe

Not until sometime in December. DD10's bday is Dec 15th so we don't "do" much Christmas until she says its OK or after her bday. We don't want her to feel like she gets the short end of the stick becuase her bday is right before a major holiday

I have more then 1, White Christmas is my all time fave. We love Elf and both version of the Grinch, those are the ones I "have" to watch every year, everything else is a bonus. I do love Christmas Story but it's not my favorite.

so do cats We don't do tinsel or garland for that reason, heck we don't use fancy ribbons & bows on our packages either....

clear lights only. Not because I don't like colored but because all my lights have to be the same color, since we have outside decor that's all white the inside has to match. lol Yes, I'm a little weird like that

Well I prefer to cut my own but the ones around here don't feel like real Christmas trees to me, to me it needs to be a fir tree and those don't grow here so we generally just buy one already cut. The tree farms have pines, not fir, to cut down a fir we'd have to go to the mtns and to be honest, I don't know what the rules are for chopping a tree down in the Sierras. lol

I'm the person who buys stuff after the holidays on discount and store until next year ... but even so, seeing the stuff early doesn't bother me, I'm pretty neutral on it.
