Planning a trip for AOA, little mermaid from 5/11-5/17.

I've never been in May before, we always go in November/December and then September. Can someone more experienced with May let me know what deals, if any, are usually offered? Thanks so much!!

Ok! We are officially booked for May! We are staying at AKV 5/1 - 5/8 and most definitely doing the EE5K!! Excited!! Off to make a new ticker!! (My second favorite part about booking LOL)

OMG.... We're changing our dates again!

Dd has been going on about auditioning for the school musical. It is smack in the middle of our trip. So we told them the surprise tonight. She was super upset about having to miss the musical.

So DH and I sat down with a calendar. I have to miss my business event (but I'd much rather her happy than me make desserts for 200 people at just my product costs)

According to my research on the site, the new dates are available, but about $40 more....lol

So the plan is now to check in May 13th and stay until the 19th. Which means we get to see the flower festival and Star Wars weekends!

Thinking about another May trip. I went this year and loved it!! I am hoping to book a BB when I'm in WDW in Nov.

My tenative dates would be May 2-10.

We are "officially" booking tomorrow!!! My oldest DD's dance teacher is a Disney TA, so I'm bringing all my info to dance tomorrow night! This will be our first time booking through a TA, but she assures me that she'll let me do as much or as little as I'd like. She knows that the hard core Type A in me can't release ALL control to her! Ha ha!

I've changed resorts to be closer to my favorite park Epcot so I'm now staying at the YC instead of the WL, can't wait

Dates are still 8-15 May, as I've booked and paid for my airfare there's no changing dates for me.

We are working on planning our 1st trip to Disney World! It will be a kindergarten and preschool graduation surprise for our DD (will be almost 6yrs in May) and DS (will be almost 4.5yrs). Looking at the week of May 10 but not sure how long to stay? 5 nights, 6 park days or a day or two longer? We are so excited and can't wait to surprise them!

On a side note. Aatif911 I was looking at your detailed report of SWW 2013 and watched the video. And wouldn't you know it, there I am in the parade video. My two boys and I were picked to be in the Star Wars parade, awesome.

1st trip, Heyoooo the kids will love it. I can only imagine their faces when the first see Cinderllas castle.

Has anyone made changes to reservations with the seven month window open. We can try to get into BCV next week instead of BLT. Keeping my fingers crossed it works out for us.
