Day 3 update...

Hollywood Studios for us tomorrow, then naps and MK for EMH tomorrow night. DH and DS are planning to close the place out, so DD and I will most likely head back to the hotel for bath and bedtime after the parade and such... Today we got a late start, but we did get to Everest, Kali River Rapids, and Kilamanjaro. Lunch at Yak and Yeti which was scrumptious! And DD and I did the walk through the ruins to see the tigers while DH and DS did KRR. Wanted to see the Lion King show, but not enough time. Headed back to the Poly where it took 15 minutes (literally) to find parking and took a quick shower before dinner. Garden Grill. One of my favorites. so glad DS said he really wanted to eat there again!

Ok, almost time for bed. Need to set ALL alarms tonight so I get up in time! 9:30 breakfast at Hollywood and Vine!

Just a week left! I've been a slacker on getting my daughter an autograph book/photos album and I'm worried any I order won't make it in time.

Are they for sale at the park/resort? Will I pay an arm and a leg for it? I like the one that holds about 25 pictures and autographs.

Wash your Frogg Toggs/Chilly Pads before use. (and the containers)
I posted prior about having a reaction, well guess what? I washed them, as was suggested on the containerand they are fine. I tied it around my arm for 20 min to make sure...figured I could handle an itchy arm vs a neck if it didn't work.

Yes, autograph books are for sale at resort gift shops, the parks, and Downtown Disney (about $15 to $20). We always buy ours when we first get to WDW because it's a fun way to say "We've arrived!"

Spent yesterday waiting for the call if I got the job I interviewed for last week... I GO IT! Soooo excited! We'll be on our trip in 13 days and when we return I start my new job

While we were waiting we did online check in, and rearranged some days, them arranged them again lol... The only one that moved was our animal kingdom day (29th now) and we now have a free park day in the middle where we'll see where we feel like going for the day.

Being a longer trip this time it was hard... Usually we're trying to find 'down days' but this time we have a stretch in the middle where we will do water parks this time lol. Ok it's early here and I should stop rambling, my house is quiet with my kids at camp all week! Time to find something to do! Maybe I'll do the mouse keeping envelopes now

OP- our Disney store has had the autograph books for a while and are half the price you pay in the park. We've seen cars, Mickey and friends and princess ones recently. Here in Canada they sell for 10.50 in store and I know the American price is about 2-3$ less. Hope that helps you

Feeling like there's still so much to do though!! Having the big "sweet 16" birthday party for DS today, so won't get anything done for Disney, but need to start packing tomorrow

Also have to get everyone haircuts and plan out meals for our last week (so we don't leave much in the house while we're away). As a prior poster said, I'm getting nervous we'll forget something

Wow, relief and disappointment. The vacation bible school I was planning was canceled so I have a lot more time to get things together for our WDW trip.
Just ordered hats for myself and both girls, shoes for DD10 and moleskin and melt-away tylenol tabs. Drugstore dot com. Really cool.

Well, I managed to finish the back-to-school shopping this weekend. We didn't have a whole lot to do this time around, being his senior year of high school (trying to deplete some of the school supplies stock pile in the closet), but all the new binders and stuff are purchased and ready to go. He's a uniform guy (Catholic school) so we're good for clothing too.

My friends think I'm nuts, as we still have a month of summer vacation, but there's no time to take care of it when we get home and I don't want it looming when we're trying to pack. And Staples had a rockin' good sale this week, so I figured.....might as well jump in with both feet and get 'er done .

So, scratch another item off the to-do list! :

We ordered our school supplies through the school for the first time this year, made shopping easy... I only had to get a couple pencil boxes and two backpacks! I like the idea that the girls will just show up at school and their stuff will be there already instead of hauling it there!

We found last year we weren't able to find any good deals at the end of August because everyone was back in school earlier last time nd they had started selling Halloween stuff after the 1st of sept!

I figure they'll get a couple new outfits in Orlando and then we'll buy more as they grow out of it since last time I bought it all at once they both had huge growth spurts theww weeks later and didnt fit anything lol... Don't they know once the loathes is bought they have to stop growing for a while??? Lmao

We are 11 days out from our trip & I just scored an 8:10 AM CRT ADR!!! We had a dinner ADR same day, with CP at 8:20 AM-- and I was totally able to reverse it!

So now we have bfast at CRT @ 8:10 & dinner at CP @ 6:10!!

Woot woot! Doing the happy dance! So excited!
