It is an awesome idea, and a much more manageable size. Now, if only someone could smuggle it across the entrance for me....Isn't it an awesome idea? And just the perfect size for a smaller group. We may just have to try one at both waterparks......for research and quality control purposes

Omg, I am totally laughing here because I got a similar phone call from AA yesterday. They changed our times too....going is 25 minutes later (7:25am...not a bad thing because I started to think I was a bit over-ambitious leaving at the crack of dawn), but coming home is 40 minutes earlier. We will still have a decent part of the day, but then I got to thinking maybe we could stay the night and take the 10:50 am flight home the next day....so while I haven't looked I to it either, just know that great minds think alike

Hello everyone! Thought I'd check in.
Trip is ALMOST paid off- parents reservation is paid, kid's reservation is paid, have a bit left on my reservation to take care of. We are at 57 days now
I'm having gift baskets done again (surprised hubby with one last year). One for the parents and one for us & the kids.
For mom & dad we got: Mickey Star Wars figurine (dad), initial necklace with mickey head (mom), Mickey head dice (they like to play hot dice), Mickey & Minnie plushies.
For us/kids we got: 2013 graduation ears (for the girl), Hidden Mickeys book (for the boys), 2013 Mickey (for the hubby)...I need to find something for me! LOL
The kids are starting to really get excited. Next week I'm going to make a count down for the living room, and I LOVE the movie count down idea. I think when we get to 20 days I will start that one up.
Our flights have been moved a bit- flight to Orlando leaving 20 min later, flight leaving Orlando leaving 2 hrs earlier
I am so very excited to take the kids and mom & dad to O'Hana the night we arrive. So far it's our favorite place to eat in the World. I have hawiian shirts for the boys (one is even a Disney shirt), and hubby has Disney Hawaiian shirts since he bought TWO of them last year LOL. Mom bought dad a Hawiian shirt, too. I have a pink skirt with white hibiscus flowers, the girl has a pretty orange dress which looks very tropical...Not sure what mom is wearing yet. Our dinner is at 5:15, so we plan to stay at the Poly and watch the fireworks
My cute new lanyard and pouch arrived today, too. That made my day LOL
We haven't, but it looks divine. Probably will never give it a whirl when there's only the three of us (dang it, I need more kids!!!) but we do plan to try the sand pail at the waterparks this summer.
He is pretty torn on whether he wants to attend our local college (can live at home saving tons of $$$) or whether he wants to go away. I think he'll probably apply to several and leave his options open. His grades are excellent.......right now he has about a 92 average in all university prep courses at high school.....so I am sure he will be accepted at all the places he applies to. He wants to work with young offenders, so I think he's leaning toward working toward his diploma as a Community & Justice Service Worker, then hopefully his degree thereafter.

lol, just kidding....pigletto, you inspire us all.....I pulled the switcheroo on Friday for our upcoming Canada Day weekend trip. We had originally planned our night in Toronto followed by a couple of days in Cambridge at the African Lion Safari and Bingemans. After some lengthy discussion with DH we opted to keep our Toronto portion unchanged, but switched our Cambridge plans to two nights and three days at Great Wolf Lodge in Niagara Falls

I spent the evening drooling over Animal Kingdom Lodge and crunching the numbers. Funny .. no matter how I ran the numbers it was still more expensive than CBR. Imagine that
I talked myself off the ledge though because the budget matters and it would be $600 more. If this were the only trip this year I totally would have done it. But there's another one in December. YOLO doesn't apply here because I would need two lifetimes to earn enough to pay for all the trips I want to take
. We purchased the meal plan again which means we can pretty much park ourselves when we arrive and never leave if we don't want to . Of course, we will go down to the tourist area at least once or twice (probably to watch the Canada Day fireworks, and to take all the requisite vacation pictures by the mighty Falls) and visit some of our favourite places on Clifton Hill (unfortunately for my hips, that will include the Hershey Store, the Fudge Factory, and the Coke Store for the customary floats which have now become NF vacation tradition). But for the most part, it will be lots of waterparking and relaxing at the Lodge. We didn't manage to get there last year (we just couldn't seem to co-ordinate a weekend away for some reason 
) so we are all very excited for this getaway. 3 weeks to go!!! .

I can totally relate to you wanting to upgrade to AKL. Ya know, $600 isn't a huge chunk of change....not insurmountable. You could almost raise that amount of money at a successful yard sale......just sayin'
I actually thought about the yard sale idea. Lord knows I have enough stuff to get rid of. I always end up doing these massive donations because I don't want to deal with it all but I really could make some money off a yard sale. In fact, my neighbours have been talking about it too. If we all picked the same day we could pull in quite a bit of traffic I bet!
We'll see I guess.
