Hi fellow Septembers!!!! Today is 111 days. I know it's not anything special and it's not even double digits but I liked the way 111 looked on my countdown this morning!!

:cool1::cool1::cool1:

So I was curious on what bookings at POP looks like right now for Sept 27-Oct 4 and they are all booked for FD that week. I'm actually shocked. I have never seen POP book fully before. However though if you book without FD then there is availability. Looks like it will be a busy week.

Am I insane to have our Magic Kingdom day be a Saturday (Sept 27)? The evening hours are cut back during our stay because of MNSSHP.

Right now I have us going to AK on Wed, EPCOT on thurs, HS Friday, and MK Sat. Tues and sun are eaten up by travel. Any thoughts? I do have ADR's but not any that I can't live without if I end up moving our park days

It depends. You won't be able to see fireworks at the park. So if that's a must for you then i'd change the day. If you have younger kids that are usually tuckered out after dinner time it shouldn't be an issue because you can stay in the park until 7pm.

On days that there is a MNSSHP the park is not as crowded because there is not night features like fireworks. If you don't mind the shorter time at the park then I would say its fine.

On the day I planed to go to MK there is no MNSSHP. It's a Saturday and it would be a very long day because I do want to stay for electric parade, wishes, etc. but I'm thinking that day will be crowded since other days have shortened hours. I'm so confused.

Well weekend days are always busier, and id have to agree that since the park closes early 3 other days that week that others might have the same idea as you.

Why don't you switch AK and MK - do MK on Wednesday- they added a parade that night and do AK on Saturday which is typically the least crowded park on a Saturday.

I am also trying to decide between Friday and Saturday (Friday the park closes at 7 and Saturday 11)... I understand that it will be less crowded Friday but my heart says go Saturday because I LOVE magic kingdom late at night. Still have time to figure it out! So much planning left!!!:cheer2:

With the park closing early on that Friday I would go Saturday, and the reason I say that is because it is not guaranteed to be less crowded on Friday, but what is guaranteed is that you will have less time to be in the parks

My mom and I are doing a girls only trip in September. We just booked last night and I'm so excited!!!!!

I've had my room booked for almost a month but we finally got confirmation that my husband's leave is approved last night and I got to book our plane tickets. :3 I've never booked plane tickets before.

Oh and I'm sorry. Ampersand: shades of green, 9/16-9/23. MNSSHP on the 21st =)

My daughter, granddaughter (who turns 10 in April) and I are going September 23-28. It will be a surprise for my granddaughter who hasn't been since she was 6. The plan is to send her to school in the morning then pick her up for a "Dr.'s appointment" and head to the airport. We've been planning and making ADRs for our time there. My youngest daughter and her best friend will be traveling the same time...getting to Disney Thursday 9/25 and staying for 6 days. My granddaughter won't know they will be there which will be part two of the surprise (We are in NH-they are in NC). we have dinner ressies for Ohanas for Friday night. They will meet us at the restaurant. Very excited!!!:yay:
