“IF THIS IS A DREAM, I DON’T WANT TO WAKE UP!” – POP! Goes The Solo Trip **THE END**

I've been lurking your TRs and thought I would say hi.

HI! :wave2:

So glad to hear you will be in WDW for the holidays. My husband will be down there at the same time, 7th-15th. Ever since I read about the "Glow with the Show" ear hats in your last TR, I have been obsessef with them. I am so excited Disney took your advice and brought them to WDW  I will be buying them :thumbsup2

Can't wait to read more :)

Hmm, I really do wish I could bottle that Disney smell and bring it home. Can you imagine? We could have Main St USA scented candles, Epcot smelling air freshener, or soaps and washing powders...
I would like the smell of the Magic Kingdom after Wishes :)

Home made shirts >>>>>>>
But YOUR home made shirts >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Disney BG music is DA BEST! Especially Epcot :goodvibes I was listening to my Epcot BG music today in fact.

I have not seen the redesigned Test Track and these are actually some of the best photos post design that I've seen so far (all from other TRs) Idk about you, I'm feeling a Space Mountain vibe. Seeing as I have not seen it in person yet, I don't know how I feel about the new one... nothing like the original

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA you kill me :lmao:

Aww thank you Meg!!! I love making Disney shirts that are unique. Haha, I even wear 'em at home.

Ah see there ya go. So glad I'm not alone in that obsession. That Epcot music is just so... :cloud9:

Aww thank you AGAIN!!! Yup, I can see a bit of Space Mountain in there for sure. The ride itself is pretty much the same in that the track never changed so you still do pretty much all the same elements. And you still race around outside at 65 mph. BUT, for me there was no story, or at least not one I can get behind.

Hehe, well I certainly don't want to kill you, lol.

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving Day! (the 14th??) So do you have a traditional meal like turkey or anything?? Any parades with Homer Simpson balloons or floats like we have?? That completely makes the holiday you know. ;)

Onto your review...

Very nice shirt!! Since we know that you are a marketing genius, do you actually create the design or use an existing artwork and make the tee shirt?

Don't you hate it when you have to switch up your footwear and then you have to worry about them matching your outfit? Speaking of crocs... they have these lovely leopard print crocs for women that would be perfect for AK!
crocs_mammoth_leopard.jpg

How did you get a car to yourself?? Was it something you said? :lmao: You are a fast learner. You clearly didn't make the same mistake twice with knowing where the camera was located for Test Track. I'm not a fan either. I agree that creating your vehicle has no bearing on the actual ride. (At least with Sum of All Thrills you design your own coaster and actually test it.)

Peach is the name of the starfish at the end of the Nemo ride?? Your TR is not only entertaining, it's educational! :teacher:

As always, enjoying your updates. :)

Aww thank you Brenda! Yes, the 14th. The same day as Columbus Day. Yes, we do all the traditional food type stuff, but I'm not aware of any parades and the like. Maybe some other cities have some? We certainly don't do it up like you do in the States though. I wish we did!

Haha, thank you. Depending on the shirt, I usually take various elements that I like and put them together to get the finished product. I certainly can't draw, but I do like to edit. TInkerbell, for instance, has never worn a Maple Leaf dress that I am aware of. So basically, while I don't create the individual elements, I do create the final look. I hope that makes sense.

Yes Brenda, that is honestly my greatest fear in life, lol. My crocs are baby blue (Breaking Bad Yo), so they match ok with many ensembles. Plus, I cut out the toes so they more resemble sandals than shoes.
Those shoes would be awesome for AK!!! I know the crocs have become more fashionable over time since the days of the standard (ugly) ones. Heck, there's even Mickey crocs. And they ARE comfortable.

I have no idea!!! I even showered and everything!! Haha, yeah, after seeing that first photo I knew I had to get it right the second time. The first one cracks me up more though. I could not have been more unaware.
Exactly. There's no real story anymore. I'm not a big fan of Sum (though I only did it once and maybe I just went too tame?), but at least the design and ride are related.

Yup, Peach. And I am so glad to expound my endless Disney knowledge ,lol.

As always, I always enjoy your comments! :)

I love your Epcot shirt, especially the "EH' on the bottom. :)

Sad that it is your last day, glad you will be able to drag it out a little bit longer for your readers enjoyment. :)

Great picture of you with your School Group friends in the 2nd picture but even better picture of you on your VIP ride. :goodvibes

Thank you SO MUCH! The "eh" was just necessary I think!

It is the last full day, but I will for sure do my best to drag it out, lol. Actually there is a lot to cover, so it shouldn't be that hard. And thank you, that's so sweet.

Haha, I actually like the first one too just because I'm just so unaware and solo.

Happy Thanksgiving to you Rob!!! And thanks for the Columbus Day wishes!

Great T-shirt :thumbsup2

I love the Innoventions loop as well, and often put it on at work or while writing papers. I can't listen to anything with words because it distracts me, so Disney parks music is perfect.

Mom and I laughed at your single rider photo (she's reading over my shoulder).

Yeah, I'm not huge on Tron Track either. I used to love Test Track, but after I got into RNRC and Everest it kind of lost some of its luster.

Yes, Pearl is vaguely like the ghosts in Pacman!

DOLPHINSSSSS!

Aww thank you Courtney. And it's my pleasure. I love my American friends!!

Thank you so much!! It didn't look so good by the end, but that will come in time.

Isn't it wonderful??? Disney music really is perfect in every way!

Bahaha, I so love that photo. Just chillin' in my empty car.

Yeah, it's not as thrilling as many make it out to be. It's not bad by any stretch, but not a must do for me either.

All caught up, finally! First of all, YAAAAAY for a new trip! That's so exciting! And on top of that it's a birthday trip at Christmastime?! Unreal!

I probably have too much to say so I'll just say that I'm loving the TR as usual, obviously! :)

Oh, and I'm in total agreement about the Innoventions loop. So happy!! (I also thoroughly enjoyed your Chandler Bing reference.)

Sent from my iPhone using DISBoards

Yay Marissa!! Thank you. I'm hoping it will be great! Yeah, My B-Day, and Walt's B-Day, and Christmas all wrapped up in one.

Thank you So MUCH Marissa!!

Ahhh that loop is one of a kind. And I honestly was totally thinking about you when I wrote that (Friends' fans represent).

LOL the guy running away from his own tour group! Who can blame him? And the pic of you in the car with the pink shirts is so funny.

All the Seas pictures

I also appreciated that you said "Old school, yo" because it reminded me of my love, Jesse Pinkman. :D

Haha, thanks Lia. That just really made me laugh. And yes, I would probably do the same thing. "Screw this, I'm going to 'Soarin."
Thank God I figured out where the camera was after only one ride. I particularly like it since it appears no one else had a clue.

EEEEEEEE isn't that ride wonderful? Despite the crazy walk, it's such a unique experience and so well done.

HA, that was ABSOLUTELY in honour of Jesse. I will always equate Epcot to Jesse. “Yeah Mr. White! Yeah science!”

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving to you too! :) Canadians represent! :grouphug: Speaking of which, your Canadian/Disney t-shirt design is great!! You must have a whole closet of unique Disney shirts! Do you do these things in your spare time all year long or just in prep for a new trip or what? Very creative, either way :thumbsup2
I feel like I'm in the minority here, but I was SO SO disappointed by The Seas with Nemo and Friends! I only vaguely remember when it was the Living Seas because I was 8 and it was my first trip and it wasn't one of THEEE highlights of the trip for me, but I do remember liking it back then!! The new version somehow seems thrown together and rushed to me :( The clam-mobiles were beautiful and lovely though! Just not my fave attraction, oh well. Haven't tried new Test Track yet but I have a similarly ancient memory of LOVING the old Test Track so I'm hoping the new version will live up! Although most Dis reviews I've seen haven't been glowing ones:scratchin Also, next year will be my dad's first trip back to WDW since 2000 and 2 of his 3 faves are The (original) Seas and Test Track so it'll be interesting to see the refurbs from his perspective!
Hahaha I love the shot of the green tour group - that one chaperone looks like he's like "UGH I can't believe they all wore green shirts! I'm going back to my room to change" :rotfl:

Thank you Suzi!! Canadians represent indeed! Honestly, I do the shirts just a short time before a trip. The shirts themselves are pretty cheap (like $5 Walmart dealies), so their shelf life is not long (as you will see as this day continues). If I like a design I'll just do another shirt right before a trip. And if there's something special (like Halloween or Christmas) I'll usually make something specific to that. For the upcoming trip I have one new one in mind related to a prior post.
And thank you for your kind words. :)

I don't think you're necessarily in the minority. I imagine there are plenty that don't like it as well. For me, I just love the way they integrated the Animation and real sealife. I just find it really beautiful and peaceful. The real beauty of Disney is there's something for everyone.

For Test Track, I guess it depends on what you loved about the old version, as the ride itself is pretty much the same. Part of the problem is it breaks down a lot and often there's at least something not working. It is visually cool, but it's pretty much the same throughout, so the story aspect just didn't click for me. But in fairness, I was just never a huge fan to begin with. But I certainly appreciate why many love it.

I'd be very curious to hear about your dad's thoughts. Maybe you'll do a TR. ;)

Bahaha, good one!!! Yeah, maybe he wasn't even with them at all and somehow had the same shirt. How embarrassing. :lmao:

Hey Rob,

it's Juliana, from Brazil. I added you on Facebook some time ago. Just saying hi here! HIIIIII :wave2:

Speaking of Holidays around the world, on 12th it's Children's day here in Brazil PLUS it's our patroness' day also, so it's an actual Holiday TOO! :cool1:

On my day in MK, I stayed after the park closure for like, 1 and a half hour and never saw the kiss goodbye. So sad. :( BUT the princess wave is just SO COOL and never heard of that before. Thanks for sharing this. :)

Juliana!!!!! So glad you posted so I can finally say :welcome: I was so happy to have a reader from Brazil. Funny too that I knew it was you just from your user name somehow. And I'm not usually that smart. :rolleyes2

YAY!!! So glad I added a shout out to all you Internationals! How perfect that there IS a holiday. Well, Happy Children's and Patronees' Day!!!

So strange with the Kiss Goodnight. There's just so much conflicting info on it. I am 100% sure it exists, but now I think it's somewhat random. :confused3

But yes, the Princess wave goodnight was a pretty darn good consolation and one I was most happy to share.

Also, I know your native language is Portugese and most of your Facebook is Portugese, but in chatting with you on Facebook I have to say that your English is phenomenal!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!! I live in Buffalo, which is thisclose to Canada and sometimes I forget that it's a completely different country since the next closest major city to me is Toronto! I feel like I have the best of both worlds pixiedust:

Well, until I get to the border crossing which sometimes makes it feel more like "so close yet so far away". :rotfl:

I forgot to quote your post, but yes that pink fish totally reminds me of Pacman! I just listed my Epcot plans on my PTR and Test Track is on my "not doing" list. Driving isn't fun for me, so standing in line for a ride that's all about driving doesn't excite me. I've done it before, but wasn't all that impressed.

I don't want your trip to end.

Aww Thank you!!! I'm not quite as close to the border as you, but I feel exact the same way.

Ha, yup, I feel the exact same way there too!!

I know right!!?? That is totally Pac-Man. Hmmm, maybe that's why Test Track was never a huge deal to me, but for the opposite reason. I love driving and do it all the time, so a ride that simulates driving maybe doesn't have the same appeal. Interesting.

AWWWWW, my goodness, THANK YOU. :flower3: I assure you there is still a ways to go and hopefully another yet to come in the not too distant future.

Disney music is my favorite

I love the TT pics, too funny! I haven't ridden the Tron version yet but it seems like everyone thinks its just meh, all well I'm still a little excited to see for myself!

You are totally right Buzz looks like he's greeting an Indian Chief or something

I love the Nemo pics, that's such a cute ride! And yay for the dolphins being out they are my favorite!

It really is the best, isn't it? :lovestruc

Haha, thank you. I can't decide which I like best. You have the exact right attitude. You absolutely need to ride it with an open mind and make your own judgement.

Hehe, that made me giggle.

Thanks Jess, it really is a cute ride and so relaxing. And OMG I LOVE DOLPHINS. I was so happy to see them since I wasn't going to Seaworld.

Loved the update!! And Happy Thanksgiving Day to you!

I remember being able to get a photo with Nemo & Co. where you could climb up in the rocks and stand next to the characters. Now it is all grown in with plants. Guess Disney didn't approve of folks "climbing" into their displays.

Your school groups look a bit better behaved than the Latin groups we had to deal with in July. They were loud and obnoxious.

And I agree with your TT description. The ride is OK, but while my DH and DS and Nephew were quite content to spend precious touring time designing cars to compete with each other, I found the whole experience a boring waste of time. Just put me on the ride already.

Looking forward to the rest of your adventure.

Thank you so much X2!

Very true. I don't think I've ever had a moment when there wasn't someone in front getting a photo, so I just had to.

They were absolutely fine. They also seemed to be in smaller groups so maybe that made a bit of a difference.

Haha, YES! Maybe it's better if someone is into cars. I'm not.

Thanks so much for following along. I greatly appeciate it.

Hands down....BEST CANADIAN DISNEY SHIRT EVER!!! I love it!! I can't believe it's down to your last day....thank goodness you're going in December so we have another TR to look forward too!!!:goodvibes

Haha, thanks Jacquie!!! Funny story from a few years back. I had just gotten off the monorail at MK, and near the bag search 2 lady security Guards commented on how much they liked the shirt. I made them re-say what they said so I could video it. They kept saying that "I didn't know there was a Disney World in Canada!" :rotfl:

Aww thanks. I still have a bit to go on this one, but yes, hopefully there is another just around the corner.

Happy Thanksgiving to you! I have always wondered the same thing as emmysmommy... do yall do turkey, stuffing, etc?

I feel the same way about the Innoventions music, too. There's just something about it. Now I am going to go find it and turn it on here on the computer to listen to :goodvibes

Your first TT picture is priceless! That's hilarious! And shows that the crowds were awesome that day! Or at least that morning! :thumbsup2

Thanks so much Lauren!! Yes, we do all the traditional Thanksgiving eats. I think the biggest difference, apart from the timing, is in the US it's a MUCH bigger deal overall. You all really do Thanksgiving right. Christmas though is a very big deal here.

Haha, that music is so good. It really is.

Bahah yeah I have no idea how that happened. Lonely much? Just timing I guess as I really burned through the design phase.

Thunder Mountain at night = awesome. Thunder Mountain at night, in the pouring rain = hilarious. I highly recommend it. Does sting a bit though. :rotfl:

I really loved it Dani. It is absolutely a must do now. Haha, I'm a little surprised it wasn't raining when I rode given how much it did rain. I have done Big Thunder in the rain though. And it is hilarious, but I found they REALLY slowed it down.

Big Thunder is definitely a more fun experience at night! And I loved those photos of the princesses waving. It's amazing how they can capture their personalities just in the way that they wave, and that we can see that from a still photograph!

I really like the new Test Track, but I think designing your own car was one of the best parts of it for me. DH and I had so much fun making these ridiculous cars, and it is totally different than the single rider line. My family actually spent the first hour of my Epcot day just at Test Track, doing the ride and then playing around in the Showroom too - so many fun pics you can get with the cars and games you can play! It just really bums me out that the single riders don't get the full experience, because for me that's such a huge part of the whole thing.

Oh, I am jealous of your picture outside Nemo without any people in it! There are always tons of people posing with those figures whenever I'm there lol.

OMG Becky, it was awesome. A totally different experience. The princesses was a huge highlight for sure. Especially where I'd never heard of it before. Of course, it's not like I got to go backstage and meet them all at the same time... :rolleyes1 You're right though, they really are very unique personalities.

That's a good point. Maybe I'll have to try it out in the regular line next time. I've heard that the FP line is limited as well. Making ridiculous cars could be fun. I just wish it somehow tied in more with the ride itself. There is some cool stuff in the showroom.

Oh God I know, that just doesn't happen!!! Like EVER!

Happy thanksgiving!!

Crocs?! Oh no! :)

I'm with ya on test track. Eh. I've rode it once, I don't need to again, really.

Dolphins!! I really could stay there and watch them in their tank for extended periods. You got some good shots of them! I'm glad you got to see them this time around. Yay!

Thanks Jennifer!!

Haha, yup... crocs. It had to be done.

Yeah. I'm going to try it again probably but in the regular line just to see how it goes. Not my favourite though.

DOLPHINS!!!!! I so love those critters too. I really do love watching them. I'm so glad they were out this time since there was no Seaworld visit.

I am cracking up over here! Native American or horrible Spock impression. Not too mention your TT photos!! :rotfl2::lmao:

I can't agree with you more about the Epcot music and the smells in Disney. I have this thing for the smell of Disney and the different smells. Epcot music is one of my faves and I am always saying when I hear certain music, that it sounds Epcoty. LOL!

Ah hahahaha, thank you so very much Sparky! Glad to hear that!

Oooo I like that! Epcoty music!! It's so amazing how Disney combines these sights, sounds, and smells. NOBODY can touch Disney.

love it!!!

I am currently debating between a trip to Hong Kong next year or Orlando...

your posting is making me want Orlando.... that or The Seas with Nemo and Friends....either way..:P

THANK YOU!!

Wow, that would be tough as both would obviously be amazing. I really want to see all the international Disney parks some day. The good news is you can't go wrong either way!

I completely agree with your assessments of the area loops around Innoventions AND the Disney smells (specifically The Land pavilion). Speaking of smells, I am absolutely OBSESSED with the smell of Disney water! It's just so distinct and wonderful and one of those things that make me always think to myself "ahh, I'm here." I listen pretty regularly to several channels on Live365 for all things Disney parks related, but especially for the area music loops. Since my trip was nearly a month ago already... I suppose I can go back to listening to Live365 without weeping that my trip is over ;)

YES a thousand times YES!! Disney water is AMAZING!!! (except for the drinking fountains, lol) ESPECIALLY Pirates. I know they actually pipe in those smells.

Listening to the loops when at home is both awesome AND sad at the same time. That music just puts you RIGHT THERE!!

Hi, Rob!
Just wanted to let you know I have been following your report and thoroughly enjoying it! So sad to hear it's almost over.

Hi Donna!! Thank you so much and :welcome: I appreciate that so very much and I'm really glad you're here.

Great report! Looking forward to the final updates :)

No special holiday here in Australia at the moment, but happy thanksgiving!

Aww, thank you SO MUCH. I am very pleased to :welcome: you.

Thank you also for the Thanksgiving wishes. I'm sure there's a holiday coming in Australia so Happy ___ Day in advance. :)

I laughed at your first TT pic of you by yourself, then even harder at the second one as you were surrounded by pink shirts! :lmao:

Love the Nemo ride! I think for me it's the mix of the animated characters and real fish too.

Hahaha, I have to admit, even though I'm not a huge Test Track fan, I did enjoy the ride photos. Every time I look at the first one I think, "Yup, I'm a loser". :rotfl:

Oh yeah, it's great, and honestly very impressive for what is really a pretty simple and basic ride.

I am SO VERY delighted that you decided to pop in and say Hi so I can now officially :welcome: you Danielle. And first post too!

Oh that's very cool. Well if your husband catches any of this TR and sees me, please tell him to say hello!! I really am excited for Glow With the Show. Haha, yes, they totally took my advice. I just hope a lot of others buy them too, or else it just won't work. I'll be getting a pair for sure though.

Thank you so much for reading!! :goodvibes

Hmm, I really do wish I could bottle that Disney smell and bring it home. Can you imagine? We could have Main St USA scented candles, Epcot smelling air freshener, or soaps and washing powders...
I would like the smell of the Magic Kingdom after Wishes :)

Right??!! I love ALL your ideas Elaine. OMG I would spend so much money on these things. :scared1: But oh so worth it. They are starting to get the picture though with car air freshener Mickey bars and others.

The fast pass line takes you to the entrance to the design studio where you combine with the standby line. It was fun to make the outrageous car and certainly better than watching the pre-show in the old test track. We also enjoyed seeing how our designs did on the various tests and how it rated over all at the end of the ride. Like most Disney ques it was a fun distraction while waiting to get on the ride. :car:

When I get my pink crocs out, it means it is travel time! I can't stand to have tight shoes on when traveling for long periods of time. Plus, I hate dealing with taking tennis shoes off when you fly and I REFUSE to go barefoot in an airport (gross), so crocs are the best. Slip on and off and still have socks on!

I am with you on Test Track. I have done the full version of the pre show and I don't get the car design either. :confused3 I just like to go fast outside.

Thank you so much for reading!! :goodvibes

Oops! Meant to say my husband and I. I would never let him go without me  But if we see you, I will be sure to say hi.

WHEW!!! Finally all caught up goodstuff n I was confused for a sec when u said that Cosmic rays was the closest so u hopped on a bus lol

Hi Rob! So just started reading today, and I'm only on page 16 but had to comment... love your report but that little video snippet you used with the little girl shaking some kinda toy with the puddle next to her... you know the one right? anyway, that dang clip has me cracking up... like you're supposed to know why that's a big deal... but I'm always the laugh-maker and not really the laugher? make sense? but that girl, and her face and her violent shaking just made my day! thanks so much for including her... :thumbsup2

BTW - I'm super glad I read and will continue reading this gem! Love the comedic style - soooo much like me... Thanks again... now, I must leave here and continue reading... but not without watching bob haired, shaker, scrunchie faced girl ONE.MORE.TIME.

gina

Ok, so just got caught up on the rest of your report - love everything! I'm with you on the Test Track - except I liked it before and now I'm just always looking forward to the end... the design-a-car is just lame! I actually thought it was more fun to sit in the cars at the end on the way out!

Love riding Big Thunder at night! I always try and time our ride when the fireworks are going on and believe me - it doesn't get any better than that. It's like I've stepped into a Disney commercial and it's surreal! you must try it on your next trip!

Have a great time on your next trip! Can't wait to read the rest. :goodvibes

Hiya, been lurking for a wile, just wanted to say I really enjoy your TR, also as a fellow Canadian must commend you on your Canadian t-shirt, every time I go to Epcot I ask for the Canadian Mickey ears but it seems they don't make them anymore :(

On my way over, I noticed the first of many school groups coming towards me.

03.jpg

I also noticed what appeared to be one of the chaperones making a break for it on the left.

I can’t blame him. Run! Run away!! Save yourself!!

As a survivor of a class trip to Disney with 145 teenaged middle schoolers, I totally appreciate that guy's attempt to make a break for it! I managed to sneak away from my group a couple of times for some much needed and well-deserved solo time!

Really nice start to your day in EPCOT! Love the shirt!

Your single rider ride ride photo with you all alone is priceless. I can't imagine there are too many cars that go out with just rrider.

We enjoyed the new Test Track. Like you, it was never one of my favorites, but we always have a good time on it.

Great photos at Nemo. Seriously, the length of the queue line is unreal (and mostly unnecessary)

Yay! Dolphins!

Thank you so much for the info. Good to know the Fastpass gets the full experience. I'll have to try it if for no other reason than to make a ridiculous car.

When I get my pink crocs out, it means it is travel time! I can't stand to have tight shoes on when traveling for long periods of time. I am with you on Test Track. I have done the full version of the pre show and I don't get the car design either. :confused3 I just like to go fast outside.

Haha, I've been known to slip out of my shoes on planes. I never thought to wear the crocs for travelling. I find they are so easy to pack. But they would be great footwear for the trip.

Haha, Test Track is all about the speed!! Vroom Vroom!!

Oops! Meant to say my husband and I. I would never let him go without me  But if we see you, I will be sure to say hi.

Ahahaha, too funny. I was kind of wondering how he was getting away with that! :rotfl: Yes absolutely please do say hello if you see me!!!

WHEW!!! Finally all caught up goodstuff n I was confused for a sec when u said that Cosmic rays was the closest so u hopped on a bus lol

Hahaha, YAY Carrie!!!

Hehe, just one of those little things I like to chuck in to make sure everyone's awake. ;)

gina

Well hello right back Gina! I am SO VERY PLEASED to :welcome: you!!

Oh my goodness, YES, I absolutely do know what you're referring to. I was searching out gifs to express how much I wanted that family to go away and when I found that one, well, it simply became my favourite of all time. Believe me, I am laughing right along with you.

Hahaha, thank you so much Gina. I certainly do hope you continue to enjoy.

Ok, so just got caught up on the rest of your report - love everything! I'm with you on the Test Track - except I liked it before and now I'm just always looking forward to the end... the design-a-car is just lame! I actually thought it was more fun to sit in the cars at the end on the way out!

Oh look at that, you already caught up. WOW, that is impressive. :worship: Thank you so much again.
Haha, yeah it is definitely different now. Funny that I've never spent much time in the showcase. I guess I'm just not a car guy.

I really love it too. I have no doubt that it would be amazing to see the fireworks from there, but darn it, I just can't tear myself away from Main Street. I just love Wishes way too much I guess. The other issue next trip is Wishes is VERY limited because of the Christmas parties. Someday maybe.

Thank you Gina!!

Hiya, been lurking for a wile, just wanted to say I really enjoy your TR, also as a fellow Canadian must commend you on your Canadian t-shirt, every time I go to Epcot I ask for the Canadian Mickey ears but it seems they don't make them anymore :(

Well Hiya to you Alice and also :welcome: I'm so glad you posted. Thank you so much; I love that design.

Do they not make the ears anymore??? Strange!! For some reason I have never purchased them, but now that you say that, I MUST HAVE THEM!!!

And it looks like you'll be celebrating your B-Day at Disney too!!! So an early :bday: to you!

Yay! Dolphins!

Ahahaha, first hand experience!! I'm thinking Epcot might not be bad since there are so many places in the World Showcase to grab a "rest" ;)

Thanks Dee! So far, so good.

Very true! I love that photo for that very reason, despite the fact that I'm clearly oblivious to the camera. In fairness, this was my first chance to ride since 2011 since the prior year it was in refurb.

Yup for sure. I really don't hate it at all. It's just not necessarily a priority.

Totally unnecessary. However, now that it has FP+, maybe the standby will be much longer. :scared:

LOVE DOLPHINS!!!! I want one!

Well I'm not sure if they don't make them anymore but last year i asked our fellow Canadians where i could purchase them and they didn't have a clue what i was talking about :confused3 Ive found some online but as usual shipping to Montreal is ridiculous so i would rather buy them at the world, so since I'm going before you i will report back if i find them this time.

PS. :bday: to you also, funny thing we almost went at the same time as you because my mothers birthday is the 11th like your niece.
