I don't get the secret of the Fast Pass. How can you not know about it?? Going on a ride with Fast Pass just makes it so much better. I waited in enough ridiculously long ride lines for years going to Cedar Point. If they have Fast Pass, Fast Lane or anything that will get me through lines faster I am all for it, especially when it's free.

Your plans for SW are amazing. I can't believe how much stuff they offer included in the price of the admission ticket. I would totally go on everything. I am going to have to get back to SW one of these days. I haven't been since I was in 5th grade and we took a class trip to the SW that was located in Ohio. That is how long ago that was.

I am going to vote blue for the Magic Band.

I never thought about climbing the hill and then going down stairs in The Land. Hmmm......odd design.

OMG I have been watching talking Mickey on youtube and I just... I will definitely cry when I meet him. It's so insanely magical. Jess and I are going to try and see him but I'm not counting on it since I know you can not really put your finger on when he will be there.

It's mind boggling how many people don't get what Fastpass is. Maybe read something about the place you are going before you fly somewhere/spend a ton of money on vacation.

You're not alone in laughing at/with Patrick... he is so funny. The seatbelts clicking hold a special place in my heart as well.

Oh, forgot to chime in on magicband color.

We saw a lot of bands this past week and I think you narrowed it down to two good choices - both are nice shades of their respective colors.

Think you might want to go for orange since it stands out more and given that you are such a wallflower would help to break the ice and have a conversation with someone you run into for once

Alright, I vote orange! I had chosen orange for myself but changed it at the last minute so DH and I would have red and green for Christmas! (Also Brenda's got a point with the matching t-shirt idea.)
I saw some video of talking Mickey!! He looks so cool!

Whenever I see a long standby line at Soarin, I grab a Fastpass and smile. No matter how often Stacey preaches the benefits, some will still standby and that's ok by me! Hahaha let the FP+ be Area 51, we on the Dis have the inside info!

I really love Living with the Land. I just enjoy the calm boat ride! I did the Behind the Seeds tour and loved it too.
SS is my favourite cs restaurant but hubby doesn't share my love. Their strawberry shortcake keeps me coming back!

im still playing around with the fastpass+. im intrigued to see how it works.

oh man, those standy-by lines...im not sure whats scarier, the amount of people who dont use the fast passes or the amount of people who dont stay on property to take advantage of the fast passes.

i really love Living with the Land.

Yay for B1! Patrick cracks me up. whenever i see him, i think of Kronk from The Emperor's New Groove (this movie is one of my favorites. highly underrated).

the ending of Journey into Imagination is my favorite. for whatever reason i had never been on it before and rode it for the first time last october on my honeymoon. that "BLAST" will definetly wake you up

Fully agree with you regarding fastpasses - only issue is when they are all gone like they were well before noon both days we went to EPCOT this trip.

Actually saw a funny one on Jungle Cruise in that the fast pass return time was sooner than the standby line would have gotten you to the ride. Um, what?

And Living With the Land is one of our favority. My favorite hidden Mickey on the ride is the hops plant in the shape of a Mickey head

I actually read about some of the FP issues happening recently Phil. Many think it was a glitch, but with so many resorts now online for FP+, the regular FP allocation has to drop. I fear for the future a little.

Haha, I've see that happen before too. I "think" what may be happening is Disney is trying to discourage Stand-By users because they're expecting a large influx of FP and need to get them though. Just a theory. Was the ride down for a bit I wonder leading to an extra amount of FP returnees?

Totally. They make a great pair. Sunshine Seasons quickly became a favourite. So much goodness, especially for a CS. And that Strawberry Shortcake... YUM to the max.

I totally agree Dee, and I really hope it lives up to expectations. It should be a great couple of days with the Illuminations Cruise the night before.

Hahaha, right??!! Part of what I find funny is the amount of people who think FP costs something. It's shocking, but I guess because every other place charges, it's somewhat reasonable to assume the same thing. I pretty much FP anything over 20 minutes. Of course it's also the creation of FP that caused those Stand-By lines to skyrocket.

I know, I was really impressed. I figure if I'm doing a Chrismas trip, I may as well do some more Christmas stuff. SeaWorld Orlando is great anyway. Add in the Chrismas stuff, and I think it's a fab choice.

Oh how he loves that ride. I really wish he could ride again. Well, it was 3 FP's. You'll have to wait and see if I make it to three rides (foreshadowing).

I guess with Disney the energy is pretty high so it's not noticed as much. It's just something I find funny.

Isn't it strange?? I just don't get it. Like I said, I'm happy to use them if others don't, but it just makes me sad that people will leave Disney with nothing but complaints about long lines (potentially) when it really is their own fault for not preparing at least a little.

Hahaha Brenda, that absolutely entered into my thought process that Orange would match that shirt. Sadly that shirt is getting a bit worn, so it may need to be replaced next trip. But it will still probably be orange, so your logic still applies of course.

Yup Talking Mickey is ready to roll. My understanding is it will be more canned phrases as opposed to interacting, but still VERY COOL!!!!
