We got our also. Kim and Craig(Adam) room 1054 Janice and Vernon room 1056
It's not a typo, I didn't know till my last cruise that rooms are on the 1st floor.
We are excited and can't wait....a few more days.
Has anyone heard any rumors about who our "Guest Performer" might be? I know that in the past, Panama Canal crossings have had a Disney celebrity guest onboard to perform, like Susan Egan, (the original Belle on Broadway), or Jodi Benson, (the voice of Ariel). Anyone heard anything?
Tracy,
Jesse is a boy. Sorry, I had it on my master list, but forgot to edit for the FE list, but it is now fixed.
Kati is an adult. She will be celebrating her 27th birthday on the cruise, even though most people think she is still a teen.
Ouch, ouch, ouch...hope you are not in too much pain.
I use the vacuum bags every time I cruise. You have to be careful if you are putting things like tshirts. It can leave them fairly wrinkled, but I've used these for that if needed. I usually pack undies, pj's, socks, items I'm not too concerned if they come out wrinkled. Great for compressing a jacket, sweatshirt...things that have a lot of bulk.
Hope your toe is better. It just makes me cringe reading about it!
I am packed and ready to go! Well, almost anyway...
Rita
We always use those vacuum bags when we travel. You can fit more in the luggage.
On our PC cruise, we had Susan Egan, we also had Roy Disney and his wife, and Don "Ducky" Williams.
We had Don "Ducky" Williams on our 11 night Holiday Cruise - I have not heard of any special guest on this one - I would think they would announce it but maybe...
Normally they try to do fun things on the longer cruises - I've even heard they did a Murder Mystery in the past.
I know DCL no longer allows the traditional organizors over the bathroom door. Has anyone come up with a good alternative plan to store all that small kind of stuff. On other threads I have read ideas about hanging the organizors from hangers, using zip ties and ribbons and hanging them over hooks on the walls. Are there hooks on the walls? Any other ideas? Thanks!
I had no idea DCL did not allow these. I've never had one. Just curious as to why these are banned.
Many of the organizors came with metal hooks that hooked over the top of the door holding the organizor up. These metal hooks left marks on the doors and I guess DCL had to put a stop due to the damage caused to the doors.
We love these organizors. They are a very convenient way to store all the stuff that might be piled up on counter tops elsewhere.
