    Positive things about your meals.

We just got back last week. Had totally awesome meals at Kona, Teppan Edo (the new place in Japan) and of course V & A's.

How wet do you get on Splash Mountain?

We rode during the soft opening about a week ago. Since the last time we wer there, they'd added a water cannon that shot over the boat going down the big falls, directly into our boat. We got soaked to the skin! The splash we got at the bottom of the big drop was nothing compared to that...

Poly Concierge. Is it worth it? Tell me about it.

We just did it, tho the upgrade was free. We thought it was great! If Disney was trying to "spoil" us, to where we'll always want to stay Concierge, it probably worked.

Fewer requests=more chance of free upgrade?

I had reserved only a garden view room, and we got a room overlooking the Quiet Pool, on the third floor. A very nice room, and we enjoyed the meals and snacks in the lobby very much. Lawrence in Concierge was quite helpful with reservations and suggestions of how to enjoy the parks. They...

Fewer requests=more chance of free upgrade?

We just got back from a week at the Poly. Normally, I load the reservation with a lot of requests (near the elevator, 3rd floor or higher, nice balcony, etc.) This time, I didn't request a single thing, and was absolutely floored to get a free upgrade to concierge level in the Hawaii building...

Your most disapointing TS restaraunt at WDW was?

We just got back from a trip, and I never thought I'd get a bad meal at Coral Reef (normally one of our favorites), but this time it was the worst meal of our trip. Food was so-so, and service was absolutely horrible. We were tempted to leave no tip at all. It'll be a while before we go back...

    CRT...Keep Calling????

That's about all you can do. Be as persistant, and flexible, as possible.

Wich attraction get the most complaints???

We loved AE too, the intro with XS Tech was quite clever and the alien was very, very, cool. I hate Stitch as much as I miss AE, and that's a lot.

    Keys To The Kingdom Questions

Park admission is required. We did get a small discount by paying with our Disney Visa.

    50's Prime Time for Dinner?

We enjoy 50's PT. The food is actually a nice change from all the upscale stuff we tend to eat while there (we like to get maximum value from the dining plan) and the atmosphere is great. It's fun to explain the decor, TV clips, etc. to our kids who have never seen such things. Kind of a...

    Favorite Magic Kingdom Resort

The Poly, with WL a close second. The Contemporary is a nice place to visit and eat, but we've never felt like staying there.

    Best Disney guide book

I love the unofficial guide, too. It's very honest and often hilariously funny.

Most Times You've Ridden One Ride

Haunted Mansion, 9 times. It was on one of my "alone days" there. No one in my family would have wanted to do that!

I changed my resort! Now I'm nervous..Help about POR!!

We've stayed in both, and I think you did exactly the right thing. Pop is very crowded and kid-oriented, and POR is romantic and relaxing. Great food court, too. Pop was an interesting experience, but I doubt we stay there again.

    Wand Aftermath Video on youtube

I'll admit I'm glad to see it gone. Hope there's a way to recycle all that material.

Le Cellier or Le Cat Food

We've tried Le Cellier twice, and found it so-so both times. I agree that the chefs are probably being forced to rush things, and the atmosphere of being both underground and crowded is not our cup of tea. Anytime someone posts a poll on here "Le Cellier or _______?", it's easy for me to vote...

This is the *NEW* Yacht & Beach Club Question & Answer Forum. Yea...we're still here.

Definately go for the Yacht Club if you want a balcony. A balcony was the one and only request on our ressie at the BC, and we didn't get one. However, when I looked at the resort closely from outside, I could see why. They just don't have many!

taking a child out of school for disney trip

So much depends on the individual school district. When we lived in Mississippi, the schools were totally cool with it. Here in Texas, at least in Houston, they're positively draconian. We finally gave up and went back to fighting the on-season crowds again. I don't think missing that little...

    Reusable Mug Poll

We stay at different resorts each time, adds to the uniqueness of the trip. But I wouldn't do it anyway. Disney offers so much bang for the buck, that I don't mind spending a little more at all.

    Bottom of the Barrel restaurants

Another vote for Hollywood and Vine. Two words...NEVER AGAIN! We love Sci-Fi, however. It's worth the so-so food to get that atmoshere and theming once a year.
