I have an 8:40pm reservation for 2 at Blue Bayou this Saturday 2/5 that I will be canceling tonight.
Let me know if you want to try to get it, otherwise I will release it at 8pm Pacific tonight.
Hmm since you used your Magic Key for entrance I’m still not sure if I can use it with my party tix.
I figure with 3 hours of mix in time we can check back at the party check in if there are long lines.
I guess I’ll just play it by ear tomorrow.
Does anyone know if you can use the Downtown Disney Monorail entrance for the Sweethearts party? I know that the GC entrance can be used for the parties at DCA but haven’t seen anything about the DL parties.
Wow I ended up getting it. I randomly kept checking because it was really weird the way it didn’t let me complete the reservation the first time. It popped back up a few times but wouldn’t let me click on it. However the last time it did and everything went smoothly and I’m confirmed.
It’s the same distance but for some reason HoJo “feels” closer to me. Castle is not far by any means, just for my personal preference it’s the last hotel in that direction on Harbor that I would consider. Perhaps I’m getting lazy in my old age lol.
Castle Inn is a solid choice, clean rooms, very friendly staff, and free parking which is rare for the area. It is on the far end of my desired walking distance though, and by the end of the 3rd day I’m always wishing I had chosen something closer.
We had a great time at Plaza Inn. Sure, it’s not like the interactions of the past, but we knew that going in. The characters did not stop and play with us but they did pause and wave (you do have to be quick though). They paraded 3 times while we were there, and we had a great crowd near us and...
Adding an 8th to a party of 7 would not be a problem because you would already be seated at a table for 8. If you were say 4 trying to add a 5th, therefore requiring a bigger table that might cause an issue.
Yes always plenty of foot traffic, even following an after hours event. We stay at the Castle Inn, most recently Sept for OBB, and there are always people around.
Bengal Barbecue
Safari Skewer - always a favorite
Pork Belly Skewer - a new one to me and I really liked it, although maybe a tad bit too much salt but the daikon and carrot balanced it out
Docking Bay 7
Cold Brew Black Caf - so good but I wish they didn’t put ice in it, I never knew...
