Wondering if I should stay in port carnival, stay close to the park, or stay near the airport. Was thinking of doing downtown disney and even maybe visiting park day before cruise. Starting to think I might be packing to much into our one day stay in fl the day before our cruise

You talking atlantis? We did that. The tour last 15mins basically it was a trek just to take you to cove beach. After it was great. We hung out at two different beaches..then at the lagoon. lunch provided at at pices grill.it was great. We also checked out the two different aquariums on oir...

I think we got a 730am time. Smooth process if you can carry your own stuff. I was back home in San Antonio by Noon (roughly 4hr drive)

Just transfered my to Costco (should have just referenced it when I booked on board) but it was super simple

We did atlantis beach day and had a blast. Played on beach...swam in the lagoon...lunch came with it and was delicious (had fish and chips at Pisces..one of resturant choices) yes it was a little pricey but 1) felt safe 2) got to have another beach day and got off boat 3) saw some pretty cool...

If you are polite say no thank you..even through in have a nice day I have vendors regardless of port will back off...at least they have with us

How was the port?

We rented bikes from eaton bikes https://www.eatonbikes.com/ and cruised around the island. Visited the "tourist sports" with out having to walk all that way. They even let us drop off the bikes at the Westin @ Mallory square when we were done. Spent about $50 bucks for two adult bikes, kid...

I have over a year to plan but these are great ideas. Seriously thinking about renting a car for the week and just parking it so it will be there when I get back. I like the lunch at downtown disney idea

So good to hear. We plan on taking a trip jan 2015 on the magic. We recently were on the Wonder and loved it.
