    I hate you Disney marathon!

With each Disney race I run, the more I understand why the registration fee is what it is. It not only covers the obvious, medal, shirt, ect, but the salaries of the extra staff working and at odd hours, the event transportation, security, port a pots, and more behind the scene that I don't know...

I'm also disappointed with the job Marathon Photo did. The majority of the pictures are dark and unrecognizable. I miss the variety of the race highlight pictures the Brightroom offered.

, I can't tolerate powerade. I run with an i fitness belt and fill the 2 bottles with a diluted mix of Gatorade and addition to my shot blocks. It's helped me push through the humidity during races here in FL

Check with your local running stores and orthopedic centers. I found mine from a flyer in the running store.

I struggled the cycle of run, injury, rest, build back up, repeat cycle, for years. I finally went through the Dartfish running analysis at a physical therapy department. It was $175 since I wasn't in physical therapy. It was a 2 day assessment. The 1st day I was filmed running, from every...

It sounds restful, but for me, I would be tired from the heat and sun. It might be hard to stay hydrated enough to run in the evening humidity. It can easilY still be 80 digress at 10pm.

I live in Florida and am used to running in the heat and humidity. I did some night runs when training for the 2011 Wine and Dine half (my first 1/2) which was the same weekend as the ToT is now) What helped me the most was reverse cycling my eating on race day. I had a big breakfast (eggs &...

Definitely on waiver watch/ corral placement. I'm running an 8K tomorrow and would love to know how hard I have to run to bump up my corral placement. I'm pretty certain my son will be in A. He submitted 1:26 for a 15k and my time was 1:37.

Has anyone received their official waiver email from Disney yet? Using the link on this site I found my bin number and corral placement, but when I try to confirm my registration through the Run Disney site, it can't find me.

I remember last year when we were chatting about the Wine & Dine, the 1st half for both of us.. I submitted my best race time ever for this race and am in C versus B for the W&D and A for the WWD 1/2. Congratulations on your marriage. I just got cleared today for running great than 5k since...

That would be very tight depending on how fast you finish. I've run 2 Disney 1/2s and both times it has taken at least 30 min if not longer just to get out of the finish area. When I was researching flights what I read is it could take up to 2 hours to get to the airport. I'm not familiar with...

It's good to see some familiar names on this board from the 2011 Wine & Dine discussion, (my first half) and that many of us are going for the coast2coast medal! I've been in denial about how close this half is. I did a long beach run a few days before the WDW 1/2 and did something to...

    Disneyland ½ Marathon Weekend~2012 Check-in!

I ran the Wine & Dine half last year. I had a large breakfast, a smaller lunch, then just fruit and salad around 6. I got to the start area around 8 and wished I had a snack with me (other than what I run with) because I was hungry by the time the race started.
