I was just wondering the same thing. We are going in 27 days and my 5 1/2 year old is about 39 1/2" barefoot. I know she won't want to ride some of the 40" rides but there are some I'm sure she'd like. I keep hoping that in the next 3 1/2 weeks and with shoes she will make the height cutoff.

We were there when my dd was just shy of 4 and had read some recommendations here about taking a small keychain type of flashlight. It provides just enough for your child not to be scared and doesn't ruin the ride for everyone else. It worked out great!

Don't laugh...but we are actually renting a GPS for my younger dd. We leave on Monday and I'm paranoid too. She is almost 4 and has never been to WDW. We actually found the link on Orlando Stroller Rentals website and decided to get it.
