Does anyone know if you can see the frozen fireworks from this resort (assuming you do not have a view from your room) or anywhere in the boardwalk area?

DLP January Trip: A WDW & DL vet goes to DLP/WDS

SPOILER ALERT! This does contain spoiler info on rides at WDW, DL and DLP/WDS. If you want to be totally surprised I suggest you stop reading. I was in DLP in January and wanted to share some DLP vs. WDW vs. DL insight as I had to look across various sources when planning to see if I...

    Scheduled Events for Epcot's Anniversary

Epcot is scheduled to open at 9a this day....do you think they will open the gates earlier? I mean a half hour or more...not 10-15min early. And if they did would it just be for merchandise or would the attractions be open? Did they open MK ahead of schedule? Didn't plan our trip...

DisneyLAND 1st trip, we are seasoned DW vets!

I would add - DCA is a must - world of color is a fantastic show, as is the Aladdin broadway style show (I think it is even more well down than Beauty and the Beast at HS). You could do DCA in a half day if you focus on must sees. At DL - POTC is better at DL. Try to eat at the Blue...

Wolfgang Puck Cafe or Boma - Flavors of Africa?

Boma food quality is really good with a lot of unique dishes. Much better variety and quality than CP or CM. If you have more of a plain pallet you likely won't appreciate Boma as much, but if you like trying new things it is great!

Positives & Negatives of the Coronado Springs Resort??!

I stayed in POR in a newly renovated room back in Oct 2011, and stayed in CS this past July. I thought both rooms were great. I was worried about CS just bc the POR felt so new. By CS was clean and also looked very well kept. CS felt more organized and less spralwed out I think b/c...

Any tips for a first timer at EPCOT F&W?

I second planning out what you want to get - your must trys at least. I also split a couple items with my friend, so we did not fill up as fast. The passport as mentioned is a fun keepsake. The Welcome Center is actually housed in the old Wonders of Life Pavillion - fond memories for me...

    MNSSHP 2012 Official Information

I was at MNSSHP last year - we dressed as villians - it was fun to dress up as villians :) This year I am going with my mom, she does not care about dressing up. The only costume she is agreeable to is something resembling her usual outfit. Does anyone have any suggestions about...

Seaworld and Busch Gardens: Best spots for shows - esp. night shows?

I have not been to these parks before, but am use to WDW. For WDW shows I like to be front and center or get the best view I can. There are many posts on great, good and not as good spots for wishes, illuminations, etc. I am wondering for the night shows/fireworks at SW and BG if there are...

    Just returned. . . my findings. .

Yes we always carry emergency ponchos :) This is really key...and the emphasis is on before...not right at rope drop. You want to be at the front of the crowd. I stayed in a BLV room this spring, and it was pretty cool that you could see Illuminations (of couse it's a couple miles away -...

    YC or Contemporary?

I have stayed at BC twice (sister resort to YC) and just stayed at the CR this spring. CR walk to MK is sooo nice! The monorail isn't worth it (aside from the experience) as it makes 3 stops before going to MK. But the CR lacks the charm of the BC/BW area. CR seemed borderline shabby -...

Check-out then drive to SeaWorld - leave stuff in car or with hotel bell hop?

The day we check out we are planning to rent a car from the onsite Hertz at UO, and go to SW for the day. After SW we will continue the drive to Tampa. We will be doing this in July (re: hot and humid). So I am wondering what people think of checking out and leaving luggage in the car all...

EMH/Extended Hours for the week after July 4th?

Any idea if more late EMHs will be added for July 11th to 15th for Epcot or HS? Seems a little empty compared to my past trips given the busy time. Plus MK has EMH F and Su....kind of close together I thought

Onsite Hotel Only vs. Onsite Package - Perks

Can someone confirm - Regardless of if you do the WWoHP Package vs. booking just an onsite hotel (and buying tickets separately), you will get FOTL access AND early admission to the WWoHP? (For some reason I thought you had to buy the package to get early admission...but it seems you get...
