I've always used skip the counter at MCO and just walked to the rows of cars and picked a vehicle out. They deal with to many rentals to keep keys at the desk. I do have my skip the counter ticket that I've printed off & on my phone to show the booth attendant when we exist the garage.

Got an email from Alamo asking to do online check in to skip the counter.

Wonder if they've swapped over to the 2017 model cars yet.

Anyone know what the car selections are currently at Alamo for Full-Size at MCO? I know this is typically the time of the year when they swap in the new rental cars. Just curious on what I'll expect to see arriving on 11/4 around 2pm in the afternoon.

@jeremy1002 I was using the code that @momto4obkids posted a few page back, but the AS1 has since been disabled.

Looks like I can't get anything better than the $190 I got for my 8 day rental from 11/4 - 11/12. That extra day is making things skyrocket with other codes.

It's roughly 25-30 minutes depending on if you take 417 or I-4 to 528.

I believe as long as you don't try to modify your current reservation you should be good to go with the price you have. Glad I was able to use those codes before they expired them.

There's always a chance but it's less likely to go below $100 on the weekends. I recently had our outbound flight on a friday go from $150 to $112 though.

If you use the self checkin then they most likely won't ask for it. I haven't had them ask for any coupons when I've rented from them in the past even though it says to present it. It might be different if you visit the counter though.

Your cheapest days to fly are typically your Tuesday/Wednesday and most expensive seems to fall on Sun/Mon & Fri. Due to most business travel occurring those specific days.

I believe you would have to make the purchase for the person that's willing to pay for them so it's a big trust between you and possibly someone who buys them. So you can't "outright" sell the miles.

I did book the wanna get away fare but book w/ a mix of gift cards and credit card. Was curious since this is the 1st time I've booked with that combination. Oh well if it is credit for a future use I'll find a use for it next year. :)

Has anyone book flights with southwest gift cards and changed flights when you noticed the fare has dropped? I noticed that I had the option to get a refund (instead of hold for future use). Will they issue this refund on a southwest gift card back to me?

Depending on how close you are to your travel date you can use http://www.flightview.com/flighttracker/ and enter in the airline, date of flight and flight number. It will tell you it's scheduled flight for that day and you can determine if it's coming from another city or not.
