Yes that's the disclaimer Im worried about. But I registered for the convention so how can they track my tickets to the convention? Ill have the paper saying I am registered?

There is a medical convention going on when we are supposed to be there and I can register for that for free. I can also purchase tickets through there but I am scared that they will get cancelled if I don't actually attend the conference. Any experience with this??

We leave in 8 days and will be there until the 20th! I can't wait. We are staying at the Hilton Anaheim. The kids don't know but it is so dang hard for me to keep it a secret!!!

I booked with them on the 4th and just called Hilton and got my reservations confirmed. Would definitely use them again! Just make sure you are choosing a room that is available and not one that is on reserve.

We've never done character dining the last couple of trips we have made. I was thinking about doing it this time. Which place has the best food and best characters for two boys 7 & 4. TIA!

That's funny because I was told the opposite when I called. I guess it depends on who you talk to. Yes there was the 18% tax rate but I was told that the extra was resort fees such as parking, etc......Strange. I wonder if it really is a resort fee or if it is LMT collecting a little tip!

Does anyone know how long it takes the reservation to show up? I made the reservation 24 hours ago and Hilton has no record of it and we arrive in 10 days.

The sales tax is super high because its a hotel tax that is in southern california (I called and asked!) the other percentage is resort fees added in.

I went ahead and booked the Hilton Anaheim for I think $67 a night that was available rather than going for the one that was on reservation.

Thank you everyone so much for your help! We ended up with a Baby Jogger City stroller. It's perfect and maneuvers really easily even with both kids in it.

We are thinking about taking our 5th wheel trailer and camping rather than staying in a hotel. Has anyone done this? Any feedback?
