Ask your friend how he/she gets to another resort utilizing the Disney resort busses? I bet it takes them at least an hour when it should only take 5 minutes in a car.

Charleys is better than any steakhouse Disney has onsite (imho).

Don't let the onsite kool aid drinkers change your mind. You can get to and from the parks faster in your own car, than waiting for a Disney bus. If it's the Disney theming you are going for, then stay onsite, but if you are looking for great transportation, a Disney bus is not the answer.

I always wonder if people carry guns into the park unnoticed. I know people can carry with a license but I'm guessing the undercover Disney police/security keep an eye on things. I also agree that Disney made the right decision taking the glass containers from the people. They can buy...

I read somewhere that they have security at the CR who are specifically assigned to taking care of parking lot. I've never seen anyone get their cars towed but that's what I'm told.

I wonder if I could take a towel instead. I mean, essentially it's the same thing no? I could always use extra towels at home.

I think the towel animals are weird looking. They do sell books on how to make them, just so people know. Might be a great hobby to take up for those who like the towels.

Isn't the point of buying a souvenir on vacation a memento to remember your trip and something you buy at the place you are vacationing? :confused3 It's not considered a souvenir if you buy it ahead of time. It would be just another item purchased for vacation.

Polynesian doesn't have a hot tub at their pool either. If I wanted to pay inflated prices and had my choice of the 3 monorail resorts, I'd stay at the CR.
