We will be in Orlando mid-December, but do not have WDW tickets nor do we have dinner reservations at any of the properties. We would love to visit the various resorts and check out the Holiday decorations if we can do it at a reasonable cost. Is parking charged at every resort? Can we...

Graphing Calculator...school supplies are killing me(rant)

Guess I am lucky. My oldest got Bs in the AP course, but 5s on the test. His college was very generous accepting AP credit. He jumped in with Calc III and made Dean's List both semesters of his first year in an Engineering major. We moved our two youngest from private school to public...

Onsite "magic" vs offsite savings and space

Not the OP, but we have stayed at both. For us with 3 kids, we prefer the off-site for the extra space and additional baths. One thing - if you have AAA, I recommend buying your park pass thru AAA and requesting the Diamond Pass for parking. It is the BEST! Especially at Epcot. They...

Puppy - from 'breeder' or regular home?

When our family was faced with this decision, we went with a breeder. My youngest child did not meet the age requirements for some of our local shelters. My middle child has asthma and we were restricted to certain breeds. The breeder cost more, but provided a health warranty and took...

    Book ideas for DS-14yrs old

I LOVE Chsitopher Paloni's Eragon series and second its recommendation. Rick Riordan is another fav in our house, but it is written for a younger audience and did not appeal to my older son when it first came out because he found it "beneath" him. Don't forget, Rick continues to write YA --...

    UGG deals and sizing

Amazon sometimes has deals -- Different sizes cost different amounts depending on size and color. I've also ordered from Zappos. My friend has done well at Norstrom's with a coupon. Order 1/2 size down if she plans to wear them without socks. They do stretch over time.

UGG Replacement soles- anyone order these?

I have had several types of Uggs over the years -- The more expensive ones have insoles that come out. On those I take out the old and out in the new. For boots/shoes that do have insoles which are glued down, I simple put the new insoles over top. When I first put in this season to a...

UGG Replacement soles- anyone order these?

I also order every other year. I've ordered directly from Uggs (via ebates) and from Zappos. Have you checked ordering direct? I got free shipping & ebates cash back. I use them in non-Uggs and have never had an issue, so I think if need be, order the women's size for the kids boots.
