We're going the last week of August too, so I've read with much interest over the last few months what to expect. The strong feeling is that the restaurants will be a zoo, but the parks will be fine.

One other perk you might like about POR is that you can take the boat to Downtown Disney. Beware of the the winding walkways. They might dis-oriant you. My wife always had problems finding the room and would've been lost if the boys didn't show her the way. It is a beautiful resort though!

Didn't care for either "Stitch" or "Sounds Dangerous". Wouldn't bother me if they were closed and updated with something else. I remeber going on Carosel of Progress way back in the 70's and since Iwas at the 64 World's Fair in NY, maybe I have a childhood memeory of seeing that attraction...

Question on the DDP and free plan... I am booked for 8/10 through 8/20 and purchased the DDP. If the free plan is offered in a few months, during my time, am I automatically eligible? What if for only part of my time, say the free plan is offered starting 8/13?
