I saw today they have added early morning fast passes for 5/22. I got one for SDMT! Waiting to see if A & E appears.

Thanks for the update... I had looked for FP earlier today and the earliest was 9 something... Just looked and I got SDMT for 7:00 am and was able to move our other FP up in time before breakfast. We will hit the parks that day at 6:00 am stay until noonish... got to resort to nap... then head back for dinner in costumes and stay until 6:00 am!! Whoooo hoooo getting so excited!!

They also opened up FP+ times for Pirates too!

What happens when there are Extra Magic Hours for DHS during this event? I was planning on doing MK on my arrival day but I'm wondering if I should do DHS instead. I was planning on DHS being a shortened day anyway.

The holiday weeks were insanely crowded last year. All other times were manageable.

As for EMH, not many people take advantage of early EMH. Though many still choose the EMH day as their park of choice even though they arrive later.

Weekends were definitely busier than weekdays. And packages sold or faster on weekends than weekdays.

The magic hours are in the PM. Should I go on that day? My plan was to go around 2:00 anyway and use the morning to hang out at the resort. I could just do that on arrival day and head to DHS. Would the show times be different?

Please forgive me, I know the answer is probably in here somewhere, but I m hopelessly lost. I am trying to work in some of the Summer Fun for my two little Frozen Fanatics, but an terribly confused. we are arriving the 23rd of August, and will not be purchasing teh package. This is their first trip and I don't want to try to pack too much more in.

I read that the fireworks are at 9:45. Also that there is a dance party. Is the dance party only for package holders? And do we know what time it starts? I want to schedule dinner in DHS for the evening so the girls can see the fireworks and dance party if possible. WE are in DHS on the 24th for the daytime, so I will try to time the parade etc that day, but will try to get back on Thursday night for the rest. Can anyone help me? For some reason, my head is exploding over this one! LOL!

I find that arriving around 2pm (when everyone is getting tired) and staying late is the best because the lines are shorter at night and the temperature is cooler. Plus, if you are not interested in the fireworks and electrical parade at the MK, you can find some really short wait times. .

The dance party is open to the public...it's in front of the stage. Honestly, it's really nothing more than an outdoor concert. I don't recall seeing any actual dancing because people are already jockeying for position for the fireworks.

My son can't handle a full day at a park. Since we are commuting from home for FSF, we will do parade or fireworks, but not both the same day. Weekdays were less crowded than weekends.

Did the premium packages sell out last year?

We have a few friends joining us for the end of our trip and I was nervous they wouldn't be able to get tickets for the night we are doing the dessert party. I had no problems rebooking a larger group (so we can be at the same table) for the night we are going.

Yes, but often people could find weekday cancellations a couple days before.
