Day 4 part 1 - Don't Count On Me To Fight Off Zurg
August 14th, 2011
We woke up at our usual time of 7am, quickly got ready and walked to the food court.
As usual I forgot to take pictures of our food. I think at that time I had given up on eating breakfast and just had a chocolate milk every morning. Ron had... something. By 8am we were already on a bus and making our way to the one park we hadn't visited yet.
Welcome, welcome, welcome! The opening ceremony of Magic Kingdom is so magical! The music is awesome and puts you right in the mood. And so many characters too!!
I love Stitch!!
As soon as the show was over we made our way under the train station, and onto Main Street. We turned the corner, and, saw the castle! I was already emotional from the welcome show, but this put me over the edge and tears of joy streamed down my face.
I actually did not even take a picture of the castle. Oops. I think it was partly because I was overwhelmed, and partly because we must have come across some photopass people along the way. Anyhow, we cut through the Noddle Station and arrived in Tomorrowland. We quickly got FPs for Space Mountain, then went to see my favorite little alien who was all alone. Have I said already how much I love Stitch?
Buzz Lightyear had no wait so we jumped in line. I remembered not liking the game very much last time because I had the hardest time aiming, but I was hoping this time would be different. Was it? I'll let you judge.
Ooooooooooh!
Ron's score
And my pitiful score.
As you can see, I was having as bad a time and quickly gave up in favor of taking pictures.
My score is so bad, they throw me in prison with Zurg.
After that we went on something I remembered loving when I was a kid. Unfortunately, it was being refurbed last time we were in Disney, so I was itching to go on!
We must have gone in the standby line because Ron stopped to try the games.
I love the ride as much as I remembered! This guy in the same rocket as us was laughing the whole way, which made me giggle the whole time. LOL
I think I forgot to take a redneck picture of our ride photo, but here are some photos from the very long walk towards the exit.
The second we got out Ron realized he had lost his phone!!! It was in his pocket and must have slipped when he was sitting in the rocket. We asked the CM at the entrance of the ride if they had found a phone. They had! She makes us go through the fastpass line. When we get to the merge the guy handed Ron his cell and then let us through what I imagine is the chicken exit. Ron was very happy.
Ron had to use the restroom, so I took some pictures of Tomorrowland while waiting around.
Up Next, Who will get the Manly Horse?
