So is anyone else with me on this? Back to work this morning...first time putting the office slacks back on. Were they always this difficult to zip??

I managed to keep up my gym routine during the long holiday vacation, but no workout (short of a certain Olympic swimmer's) will take care of the 2 full batches of sugar cookies (both baked and raw thank you very much) that I downed during the last 2 weeks. WTH was I thinking?

I'm not even getting on the scale; I don't want to know. But it's time to move forward. Anyone else want to lament with me?

The Zipper must have shrunk!:thumbsup2

I work at home, so the sweatpants fit the same as they did BEFORE Christmas....

With that being said, if I gain weight, so be it. I don't really care.

Normally I would be in the same boat as you, OP.
But I think my pants are actually looser now than they were before the holidays!!!

Of course, I had HORRIBLE stomach bug that made it so I couldn't eat much of anything all last week....:headache:
I'd personally rather have the tight pants...:lmao:

I can still zip up, but I know I gained some weight between T-giving and New Years.

Today, there were assorted candies in the breakroom. I looked at the mint puffs - which I totally love. Three of those little things have 70 calories! And I recall times I've eaten about 10 of them on one sitting. I am feeling ill just thinking about it.

I am back to lots of fruits and veggies, keeping hydrated, and just saying no to sweets unless I really, really, really want them, and then just a small bit.

At least, for the next couple of weeks until my birthday vacation.

Went back and rejoined weight watchers this weekend. Can't even speak about how high the scale has gotten. But now that I'm on a plan, committed to doing it, want to lose weight for health and appearances, I feel better.

To avoid the sticky zipper problem, I put on a skirt that has an elastic waist. :goodvibes

You mean I can't wear the flannel jammie bottoms I have been living in for the past 2 weeks to work! I had to go find the fatter jeans this morning :lmao:

Only 2 batches of sugar cookies:confused: heck, I did that within the first day or 2 on vacation.....then there was the peanut toffee, the candied cranberries, those yummy melt in your mouth mints to toss onto the platter of goodies for the neighbors, the mince meat bars.....the left-overs from Christmas Eve dinner and as if that were not enough, there is the new chinese take out place just up the road that opened the week before Christmas, they already know my family by name:rolleyes1

Mine fit OK, but only thanks to an absolutely INSANE amount of time spent at the gym and with the new Wii Fit over the last week. I was really dreading bustin' out the work pants this morning!

I loved my jammie pants too....they made me feel so skinny over the holidays!
