ZENMED (acne treatment)... anyone ever use it?

My 17yo DS has mild/moderate acne and I know it bothers him. We've been to the dr. and that didn't really work.

I was doing some research online and saw an ad for Zenmed and was wondering if anyone had used it, and what the results were.

Also if anyone has any other suggestions, I would be glad to hear them. Thanks.

What has he tried and what is his normal routine?

Well he's tried ProActive, Serious Skin Care's Clear Wash & medicated pads, drug store stuff, he has had antibiotic's from the dermo., etc.

As far as his routine, not sure what you mean, but I do know that he washes his face at least once a day. He's a teenage boy, don't know if I can ask for more than that Right now he is using the SSC's Clear Wash.

Has he tried a BHA lotion? In my vast experience in this I'd try a mild soap, Cetaphil is a good one. And a 1% BHA lotion. Alpha Hydrox has a good selection.
Clean and Clear benzoil peroxide at night. First try 5%, and then 10%.

I know this probably sounds like he's starting over, and he would be. But I've learned that sometimes we over stress our skin trying to get it to do what we want, and it's better to gently nudge it instead.

I've learned that the more normal I treat my skin, the better it acts. I just help it with the little problems.
