Can anyone give me a little more information about Yuletide Tours? I know nothing about them except that I suspect they take place at Epcot. So, what are they? What was your experience like? Cost? etc.

It is a 3 hour tour that starts around 8:30 Epcot. You go behind the scenes to the building where they make and store the decorations. Very informative, IF YOU HAVE THE RIGHT GUIDE. It seems this of the tour is very dependent on who is taking you around.

Not sure everything you see now on the tour. We took the tour in 2002 and it started at MGM.

MAKE SURE YOU BRING A PHOTO ID WITH YOU.You will not go on the tour without it.

It cots $59 per person, NO theme park admission required.

If you do a search using "Yuletide", you will find many reviews on these boards.

My mom and I went on this tour last December and really liked it. We started in EPCOT by going to the WS before it opened. We got some great shots of the countries without any people in them! The guide was informative about the decorations and we discussed lots of Christmas customs from around the world. We rode a bus to MK where we were able to enter the park through a cast entrance. We discussed how the decorations were brought in and how they rotate decorations from year to year. We then went to Animal Kingdom Lodge to view the decorations then to the Grand Floridian to see the gingerbread house. We then toured the warehouse where all the decorations are kept. We met part of the crew who makes and maintains the decorations. There was a lot of trivia and we received a nice ornament at the end of the tour, plus a limited edition pin only available to tour participants. I would definitely go again.
