You've Got a Friend in Me:TINKGURL & XOKTENOX's Adventures in WDW~UPDATE: 6/9 p.74

Just wanted to say thanks for staying with Kristen and I...this time of the year gets crazy busy for us! Fiance graduates from college Saturday! Then next week is finals..then I'll have a whole month off of school, so you'll get lots of updates. Kristen and Chris are leaving for FL this weekend!

We are pretty much decided on FL due to having Chris' family down there. Our hope is to save "NY money" and then go down there with it.

Maybe you guys can become friends with my Florida son when you get down there. :)

Congratulations to your 'fella' on his graduation! :cheer2:

It's crazy busy for everyone, so don't worry about it. Get through your school work, and then enjoy the time off with your family. :santa:

I second this! Thanks everyone!

As I had said we are going to FL but not to WDW...wellllll, I realized that the only thing we had planned to do while we were down there was go to Busch Gardens one day...so my wheels got turning AND...

we're renting a car on Tuesday the 14th (a week from today!!!) and going to drive to WDW! No parks because we have no tickets but we will explore the resorts decorated for Christmas, go to DTD and maybe do some mini-golf! Not quite as good as a whole trip to WDW but certainly will give me the fix I need to (hopefully) carry me until May 31! :yay: :woohoo:

Hey pretty ladies! I promise I've been following along and I'm all caught up now! Life has been crazy busy around here as well... both of you know! :goodvibes

Kristen - I've always wanted to try Biergarten. I think Josh would really like it, as well as Jake since it has the entertainment along with it.

Tink - Hearing your Splash story makes me all excited for when we go next year (still no set dates yet!)... but Jake will be tall enough! YAY!

Looking forward to hearing more!

Great update! I can't believe how long the balloon stayed inflated!
Little guy looks so adorable in his pics, he's lucky to have you in his life.

Congratulations to Fiance graduating!!!!

Tink, congrats to your fiance on his graduation. A great accomplishment. I totally get the craziness that is December. Take your time...we'll be here waiting patiently for your next update!

Kristen, I'm glad you were able to find the time to squeeze in a little Disney. I think you're plan sounds like fun. My dream is to be in Disney during the holidays sometime. As a teacher, I'm not sure if it'll happen any time soon, but I've got my eye on a Dec. trip someday.

Today DH and I booked our airfare for our trip in April. We were planning on driving, but, we got a great price (lower than the one we agreed we'd pay if it came up) and my doctor was very concerned about me doing that drive because (I hope you don't mind me announcing this here)...I'll be 7 months preggers and at risk for clots!!!! My trip feels real now.

Like you Kristen, I'll have a different Disney experience this time around. The important thing is, you're going to find a way to enjoy the time you have in Disney. I only hope it doesn't kill me to sit infront of ToT and EE while I watch my family jump in line.

Tink, good luck with your finals. Kristen, have a blast with Chris visiting his family.

Omg Ladies,
I have been MIA from DIS for awhile life has been a lil busy around here!
I'm back and hopefully I'll catch up on this real soon!
Tink- Congrats on Fiance's Graduation from College(:
Kristen- You are so lucky to be going to florida in december again! Even though not particularly Disney it still will be amazing! Plus you get to see family <3 . My In Laws went to Florida in the Begining of November they were suppose to be moving there! They decided it was boring and they didnt like it!!! WTH???? Everyone says they went to the wrong part to look for houses! I totally agree because I dont see how florida could be anymore boring than New Jersey!:confused3

LAUREN : I love the quote on your baby ticker that says if one more person asks you how your feeling your going to drop kick them to New Jersey! :laughing:that's one nice kick :)

BIG congrats on your DF's graduation!! That is HUGE!! So proud of him!

Kristen- I"m insanely jealous of you getting to go in December to see the resorts!! Take lots of pix for us!!:thumbsup2

That's ok, girl, we understand! I'm reading like 10 TRs that I haven't had time to comment on but I have read them!

Definitely try Biergarten, I think Jake would LOVE the band! I hope you are able to get your HUSBAND'S parents' timeshare!

I'm going to school to be a teacher so this will probably be the last time for a while that I'll be able to go to WDW before the holidays. I'm trying to convince Chris that we should go next year after Christmas for New Year's!

CONGRATS ON YOUR PREGNANCY  :yay: :woohoo: How exciting!!! Keep us updated on how you're feeling!

I think I would be a little antsy sitting out for rides but I would just have to keep reminding myself it was all for a good cause! :)

Yes, I'm so excited to go to just check out the resorts and see DTD. It will have to do until May! I'm not sure what could be so boring in FL because NJ isn't so exciting...neither is NY unless you live in NYC!

BIG congrats on your DF's graduation!! That is HUGE!! So proud of him!

I will take a ton of pics, no worries!

Hey girl. Glad you are all caught up. We both know you've been busy. :)

I hope Jake loves Splash!! I wish everyone could've been with us while we rode it. It was hilarious.

Great update! I can't believe how long the balloon stayed inflated!

Thanks for reading! I can't believe how long it stayed inflated either! It was definitely worth the money!

Aw thanks so much. His big blue eyes are hard to say no to sometimes! haha

And thanks. He is very excited to be done with school!

I definitely think that will give you your Disney fix! The resorts are amazing at Christmas and mini golfing is fun. Try to go over to the Boardwalk too...it's always exciting there. Maybe you could catch some of Illuminations or something!

Tink - congrats on Fiance graduating, what a great accomplishment! :goodvibes

Kristen - so glad that you'll be able to step foot on Disney property! Even without the parks, it'll be wonderful to be back for a while! :goodvibes

Lauren, congratulations on your marriage! I wish you all the best, and I look forward to seeing those little ones grow up taking many wonderful Disney trips in the years ahead.

Hey everyone! Just wanted to give you all a "see you real soon!" because we're leaving for FL in just 2 hrs! As soon as I sign off of here we are leaving to get Chris and go to the airport. If you're friends with me on FB you can look for pictures there including Tuesday's trip to Disney property! "See" you all when we get back next week!! :yay:

Thank you so much, MeMom! We're currently in the process of trying to plan our first family trip all together next fall. Most likely the first week in October! Especially since we found out we can exchange my MIL's timeshare for a DVC 2 bedroom! :goodvibes

I think I would be a little antsy sitting out for rides but I would just have to keep reminding myself it was all for a good cause! :)

Thank you. We're very excited. I know it will be hard for me to watch everyone going on my faves w/o me. But, I'll just have to remind myself that the next time I'm there I'll have another little one with me :) I've already decided that I'll keep DS off of ToT and EE (I don't think he'd be tall enough for this one anyway) so I can be with him for his first time on my 2 faves. Fortunately, he hasn't been on any of the "grown up" rides so hopefully he'll enjoy the other mountains with his Daddy. And once he's tall enough for RnRC, DH will take him on that too because thats DH's fave!

I just read that you have already left for Tampa. I hope you have a wonderful time and I'll be thinking of you on Tuesday...complete with jealousy...that you get to see that beautiful place during the holidays!

Hey everyone! Finals are winding down and I should have an update up this weekend! But for now, I wanted to share a picture Kristen sent me yesterday from WDW!
