You've discussed tattoos..how about getting pierced?

I'm planning on getting my belly pierced this weekend...after thinking about it for quite some time. I have my ears done (2 in each..but only where 1) and this is the only other place I would do it.

So I ask you...
Do you have any piercings? Where? If you would get something done where would it be?

I have my ears pierced once - and I got that done when I was 34! Would never do it again - I am a WUSS!! Plus, I had a reaction afterwards to whatever they put on the ears (alcohol?) and they burned and itched for weeks. I wanted to rip those earrings out!

DD (17.5) has her ears pierced twice, but only wears 1 pr. of earrings in each ear. She had her belly button pierced at the end of summer (after trying to talk us into in for 3 years). I will tell you that it was painful for her - and after she got that done, she said she never wanted anything else pierced! The belly button takes longer than anything else to heal.

I have 2 earrings in one ear and 3 in the other. I used to like belly button piercings, but I don't any more??? Ah, doesn't matter, I don't have a belly button anymore. LOL!

I have four piercings in one ear and three in the other, but I usually wear pretty small earrings, so they don't really stand out. I'll tell you, if belly-button piercing would've been popular when I was younger and had a flatter stomach I probably would've had that done. You can always let it close up if you change your mind!

i can't get my ears pierced b/c they are too small. i've tried several times before and had bad results. a doctor finally told me no more.

i did have my nose pierced for awhile, though it got ripped out and i never had it redone. actually that didn't hurt at all (the original piercing, i mean).

I have two piercings in each ear. I'm done.

DD has 2 in one ear and one in the other....but doesn't wear earrings anymore.
She had her belly button peirced 2 years ago. She is a wuss...and she didn't mind it as much as the ear piercing at the top of the ear.
It does take a long time to heal......and not easy to change the ring, but she doesn't regrett it. (and it look sgood on her )

Good luck! It hurts a little bit when they pierce you and mine was tender for a week or so while it was healing, but it was worth it!

BTW - the only other piercings I have are my earlobes and that is ALL I'm getting done!

I have a conch piercing in my left ear and a belly button ring. Helpful hint... Make sure while your belly button is healing that you try to steer clear of tight fitting pants that ride right on the ring. It takes a while to heal and get used to it, but worth it IMHO.

My ears are double pierced. My oldest has her ears double pierced and her belly pierced. I watched them do it if you have questions.

Currently I have 4 piercings in one ear and 3 in the other. I used to work at a place that did piercings. We had to practice on each other, and at one point I had 7 in one ear and 6 in the other. I also had my tongue done but took it out because my tongue is so short that the guy had to pierce the tip of it. It was just too hard to hide working retail. I also had my nose done. That's one that I miss. I took it out when I had dd. Didn't want her ripping it out.

I have five in each ear (all in the lobe, no cartilage. I wear small earrings in so they aren't extremely noticable, but I do keep the earrings in all the time. I used to think I wanted my belly button pierced but due to my fear of needles there is no way I could seriously consider that one.

I have my ears pierced and my navel... actually I've had that done 3 times!!! 1st time took it out for surgery 2nd time it fell out and closed up in a matter of a few hours and now it's all healed and I'll never have to have it pierced again

The only piercings I get are on my arm every time I get an allergy shot. I'm chicken, I'll admit it. I don't see any reason personally to get my ears pierced. Others like it for themselves, but it's not something I want. And certainly no piercings anywhere else!
