Sat - 0
Sun - 120

Thurs - 60

That brings me to 1097/1575 :)

:)whoa - and just like that we're down to 2,300 minutes to go!

I adore this team. :)

38 minutes to me mostly the rowing machine at work.

589/1000

Tomorrow at work the offices across from me are having a pre-thanksgiving party with the motto: "gobble till you wobble".

Here's hoping I don't eat all of the way to 'wobble' status. :)

Hahaha, hmack, that's hilarious. Here's hoping you don't go THAT far!

Y'all inspired me....just added 118 min for today as well as the 18 and 17 from Tues and Wed. Puts me at 1057/1400 and just tips me past 75%. :cool1:
It's supposed to rain hard, the next two days, so I figured I ought to put in a long run tonight....

Keep it up y'all, we're on the home stretch before turkey day.

A bit of sad news to follow...stop reading if you aren't up to hearing a sad story. I don't want to put a damper on our enthusiastic thread with our awesome efforts, but I just can't stop thinking about this. I read online that another family from the north Tx. area where we live was in an accident last night on the way to Disney. 16 yr old was driving, went into the median, over compensated and car rolled. Parents and 3 siblings, none apparently buckled, all killed. Driver and 2 others slightly injured. So much sadness here, but I can't stop thinking about the guilt of the kid driving and how much that will remain with him/her thru their lives. Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers.

Do you know how awesome you are?

Did you know that as a team we reported more than 1,000 minutes of exercise?

It's true!

We have our first great-grey-go-getter (congrats 2TxAgs) and several of you are just a workout away from joining that club.

We also had a new member of the purple-power group (congrats dizzyr!)

Yep...you're all pretty darn special.

We are currently 1,778 minutes from our next team goal. Who's going to be the first to report today??

2TxAgs - that is a sad story to be sure and I want to mention it, but sometimes it's hard to know exactly what to say in the face of such an event.

I guess that the take away is to remember to be oh, so thankful. Thankful for the good days, the boring days and even the tough ones that help us grow and teach us lessons.

Be well today, my fellow Treasures, I'm glad I get to start each day with each of you.

36 minutes for me mostly a lunchbreak run.

And then I may have, just possibly, gobbled til I wobbled.

:)

625/1000

I'm feeling a bit like my progress has been really slow lately, but I'm hoping for a productive weekend.

My exercise hasn't been too hot the last few days, just 20 minutes to add (600/900). Not sure I'll make my goal this month, but I'm still pushing forward.

And for the question (something I'm really good at)... it's got to be organizing. I have a schedule and list of responsibilities/activities that seems crazy and impossible on paper, but I love everything I do.

810/1000
I got my exercise this week walking on the treadmill.

It has been a hard week. The weather has been cold all week. Although, today we are going to have a warm-up. It should be in the 30's!

Good Saturday morning to you all!

we have a new member fo the Great-gray-go-getters! Congratulations to:
snels

and Yeah for days that are over 30 degrees!

Have a great weekend everyone and remember that every minute counts!

120 minutes walking at WDW. Posting from Sanaa so I will don't know my totals. Will fix that next time I post. :)

41 minutes for me today!

Lisah - hope you're having a great time!

666/1000 (kind of an ominious total)

Well, I walked once over a week ago and haven't done any more exercising until tonight! So, I'm reporting the 52 minutes I walked then with tonight's 54 minutes for a total of 106 to add. I've got to step it up! It looks like everyone is doing so well. Congrats! :)

260/700

Sorry for not reporting in for the past few days- been a bit rushed lately. But here are my minutes:

11/20- 10 min
11/21- 10 min
11/22- 100 min

725/1400

Ran in the freezing rain this morning- that was a new experience! But the good news is my new polar Tec tights kept me warm and dry! Amazing. And I love my smart wool socks. I feel ready to run this winter- something I haven't done much in the past for fear of the cold.

Hope you are all having a great weekend!

:)Good morning!

It was so good to see the reports from yesterday:
lisah0711 - you are officially at great-gray-go-getter
figment1990 - you joined purple power
and
swissfamilyrobinson - you officially joined Team Orange

Team Update: we need a combined 1,086 minutes to reach 75%

swissfamily... - it was so good to see you check in. I bet you'll be changing colors again before you know it!

figment1990 - freezing rain isn't my favorite - but it is - umm...refreshing(?). Good for you for battle through the elements and getting it done. Your gear sounds great, no excuses this winter. :)

I think I'm going to lace up my sneakers and hit the road pretty soon, myself. I've been invited to do a 10K with a friend in mid-December. but I haven't run more than a couple of miles at a time so I going to go out for a longer run and see how it feels before committing to a 10K.

Whatever you do today, I hope it's a good one. and remember:

I could go running, and racing, and dancing, and chasing, and leaping, and bounding, hair flying, heart pounding, and splashing, and reeling and finally feeling, now's when my life begins. - Tangled

79 minutes for me so far today.

745/1000 - hmmm....I think I'll have to do some more this evening. Only 5 minutes to get to 75%.

alright - a short walk to the grocery store and back puts me at

759/1000!

1133/1400

A bit of yard work and a couple of short walks is all I've got to report. Kinda babying the sore lower legs (figment, I'm guessing you've probably hit the nail on the head re: ramping up too fast being the culprit). Hope to get in a longer walk tomorrow.

Wondering who makes something really unique for Thanksgiving dinner? Ours is pretty standard - turkey, ham, pumpkin pies (LOTS of these, for days before and after), sweet and regular potatoes, dressing and green jello dessert. What about y'all?
