I don't like Frozen at all.![]()
Thank heavens! I thought I was the only one! Never saw what all the fuss was about.

I'll throw a big one on the table. I don't believe in man-made climate change. Ever hear of the ice age? Pretty sure there were no lawn mowers around then. Or during the dust bowl. Or many other times in the history of the earth when the climate really did change in a drastic way.
My father told me long ago to follow the money. Climate change industry is now a multi-billion dollar operation. Do you really think the scientists involved would come out and say "we got nothing?" All those people would be out of work. Just look back on all the warnings we've hear for the last 30 years. None of it has happened! Polar ice cap is actually GAINING ice. Average temperatures are actually DOWN across the world. Sea levels are down. But it all sounds convincing, so we as lemmings follow along. After all, people always quote "97% of scientists agree." True. And so would I if I worked for some foundation that got millions of dollars in grant money.
This goes for Caitlyn Jenner. It's like we are not to even acknowledge Bruce ever lived. You know, the man who was man enough to father 6 children? But all of a sudden is a female. And heaven forbid if you slip and say "He" for Bruce/Caitlyn. You will be crucified.
Here's my new unpopular opinion...
75% of this thread is filled with thinly (and not so thinly) veiled judgements.
Some of it makes me happy that I don't know some of you IRL. I'm sure the feeling is mutual though.I'm going to say 100% of this thread is filled with not so thinly veiled judgments and I think it is awesome!I love that everyone is letting loose and this had remained an extremely civil thread.
I think we're growing upLook at us DISers being all mature!

Haha... You don't want a cat hair cookie?Alright, Soldier's--Get your darn cat off the counter already
Seriously, I think this thread is hysterical. Even the stuff I disagree with is making me smile in this thread. I think it is all written so bluntly and comically.
What specifically is bothering you?
A few, plus I think the "replies" to opinions questioning them was not what was intended, but it's actually stayed on track quite nicely, I think! Here's my new unpopular opinion...

I hate flip flops
I think folks who say that a stay at home parent of kid(s) in school full time (past age 5+) really should be called 'unemployed' have never had kids past age 5 yet.
I'm not mad. I was just putting my unpopular opinion. I used to be of the same opinion, that parents can go back to work once kids are in school...then my kids were in school and our lives were more hectic than ever. I have 2 in HS and 1 in college and I stay home still. It would be difficult for me to hold any kind of meaningful job since I have so much running to do and other stuff (also due to my DH having a very demanding career). I must say, families where both parents work (or single working parent)...don't know how they do it all and my hat's off to them.I have 2 children, ages 17 and 19. But, let's not bicker. It's just one little opinion on a thread that is meant to be a safe-zone.
